Please find one better than this. Jamaica vs Canada 94 WC qualifiers in the National Stadium, was not known as the Office as yet. Hector Wright scored a volley from the edge of the 18 yd box. I will forever say thats the best goal. If WC goals count, Hugo Sanchez of Mexico scored a beautifully take bicycle in a WC match, can't remember against who right now. That would have to be #1.

Kerry Jamerson....T&T vs Guatemala, National Stadium, 1989. Latapy receives the ball from Yorke on the edge of the area under heavy pressure. One touch and rolls it back for Jamerson making the run from midfield. Jamerson doesn't break stride and from just outside the area, lashes a low right foot bullet into the right hand corner of the net.

I am just going to comment on the goals scored by the reggaeboyz. A few that I can remember are; Hector Wright's volley against Canada, Walter Boyd's goal against Zambia, Onandi Lowe's free kick against El Savador just to name a few.

That Wright goal was wicked. He scored a similar one around that time range, though I don't remember against who (if anyone remembers please tell me, it would be greatly appreciated) I think I saw the goal Palos is refering to too. Saw that Zambia game and remember that Pearl goal very well. I rate all of those. There is however absolutly no doubt in my mind that Onandi Lowe'e goal against El Salvador wins the title. No bias. You will see the other goals repeated every ever so often but you won't see a player beat a keeper for power in a serious international (WCQ) like that from 40 yards too often. For those who saw it there was a moment of total disbelief when the ball hit the back of the net. Remember this was not a man floating a ball into the box (for someone to head in) and it acidentally went into the goal. This was a direct and deliberate shot to goal. I suggest to you that there aren't many international ballers who would even attempt such a feat. That goal was simply awesome.

Oh and Lazie I don't rememer Sanchez scoring a bicycle (I may have just missed that one). Or might you be refering to the scissors kick by a yute name Negrete(sp). Just wondering. Good goal that was though.

Hector wright !Beat the mexican keeper with a sizzler from a little below half line(how much yard is that again). That was the 1st time we ever beat mexico ! The shot did not go to the corners .. went straight above the keepers head with so much pace he couldn't get to it. As man a yaad would say .. when him kick it .. it reach the back of the net same time. He had a similar goal in CONCACAF play to that from a lesser range. Best Kicker of the ball to ever come out of jamaica. Maybe the best passer too.

Wickedest goal was Onandi freekick from 40 yards out. True dat topnotch, mi haffi rate tha goal dey. Another goal whey mi rate was Bibi's goal in the WCQ's against Honduras in the office where he scored from a corner kick . He almost did it twice, the first time the keeper had just barely got a hand to it to keep it out. The second time it curled right into the net.

My favourite goal and what I think is the best ever scored goal in concacaf is " the one time scissor-cut volley that Zague scored against jamaica from a square when mexico used treat us as them beating stick, I think that game mexico had won 7-1. For those who don't know Zague was brazilian by birth but was adopted as a citizen of mexico.

Well the off balance header scored by Burton in the away 2-2 draw against El Salvador (WCQ 97) deserves a mention. It is true Hector Wright is the best kicker and the best passer of the ball from Jamaica that I have seen. While Boyd probably have the more wicked goals than any other Jamaican player I still say Lowe's 40 yarder was the most impressive that I have seen and thus is number one, not just for Jamaica but in Cancacaf.

Without breaking stride, Bibi connect with the ball on the volley from about 10 yards out side of the left-hand corner of the 18-yard. BOOOOMMMM !!!!! The ball fly like a laser into the top right-hand corner. Keeper dead Stadium mash-up........ (and the rest is history) Wicked Wicked Wicked. Guidance.

whoever doubt that lowe`s 50 yarder was the finest, can check tvj for a copy of the match. Blanco also scored a wonderful volley in the 98 world cup.

Again, if I had to pick one goal it would be Hector Wright's goal against Canada during that 94 campaign. He also scored a peach against Bermuda from about 35 yards.

Hey ..Hector has scored the most spectacular long range shots for us. Also he may be our assist leader too providing the goals for Tegat. I still say the goal against mexico .. Anyone remember that ? Right over the keepers head and he couldn't get to it ! That goal took us from beating stick to respect in the region in spectacular fashion Landmark goal .. Tegat Davis in El Salvador World Cup Qualifier during Carl Brown first stint as head coach. It was a 30 yard bomb that hit the underside of the crossbar. The whole stadium get quiet. What was even more amazing is that even though the ball did hit the undrside of the bar and crossed the goal line, Tegat was the first to the rebound to make sure it went in. Great goal.Anyone remember that one. It was on JBC (remember that station?) one sunday afternoon.

I remember that goal Technic. He also scored another good one, a diving header in a 3-0 win over TnT in the Shell Cup (the year when we lost the finals to Martinique on penalty kicks).
