Jason I single you out because your are our creative/holding player. And when our midfield go silent it's mainly a reflection on you.
More than likely you'll start with Austin against the USA. As a starter your play has left much to be desire as our creative midfielder. We need more from you. First thing, your work rate with and without the ball is lacking. We do not see that interior side to side support of the ball. We haven't being seeing your creative spark, the deft turns and twist with the ball that we know you possess. We haven't seen you opening up spaces with your movement and passing.
Jason where is your passing into the attacking third, or thru passes into the box? you are letting us down brethren. You have the ability but we are not seeing the work on the pitch.
In the last two friendlies we all see that your fitness has improve, but we are waiting for when you'll, by your experience take charge in the middle and run tings. Right now tings a run di I.
Bradley & Jones cannot be allowed to have the same kind of dominant performance against you and Austin as they did in the GCC. They clearly outworked, out-hustle, out-passed and boss the middle over both you & Austin. We expect better from a proud yard man.
Get your strength (weights) and conditioning together, and do some extra work on the side.
You and Austin cannot afford to get outplayed like that again. In the last two matches, Guate/Ant-Bar both of you were missing in the first halves. No movement, no passing out of the middle. It was only when both teams got tired in the second halves were there credible interplay and creativity shown by you and Austin. Now, how will that play out against the better ConCaCaf teams? They play full 90 minutes.
Jason we are expecting not better, but your very best come September 7th. It's time to put up Jason, you've being around long enough, experience enough to analyze your value to this team and what you need to do to make our midfield one of the best in ConCaCaf. Do your job!!!

Is Jason Morrison the Difference between a Win or Loss? Jamaica vs USA August 3, 2012 Filed under Articles, Contributed Articles, Jamaica National Teams, Men's Senior News, National Mens News, National News, News, Press Releases, Teams Posted by JamFedadmin CONTRIBUTED ARTICLE
Jamaica will go up against their CONCACAF Rivals United States on September 7th at the National Stadium in a crucial World Cup Qualifier. A Match in which Jamaica will be aiming on breaking their ducks vs The USA. Now Jamaica will have to rely on a number of players to get the job. One man who can be the a major factor in getting Jamaica the 3 points will be Jason Morrison.
Jason Morrison is a 28 year old Holding Midfielder who plays for Aalesund in Norway’s Top Flight Division. Morrison has 35 caps for Jamaica and has played in Major Tournaments for Jamaica including the CONCACAF 2009 and 2011 Gold Cup and also the 2008 and 2010 Digicel Caribbean Cup.
Morrison is a very composed defensive Midfielder. He makes diligent tackles and does the dirty work very cleanly. Usually Defensive Midfielders do not get the praise and the recognition that they deserve however there work is very valuable and it pays dividends at the end of the 90 mins.
The USA likes to pack their midfield with attacking midfielders and Jason Morrison has an important task at hand. With the likes of Michael Bradley, Jermaine Jones and Clint Dempsey, Jason Morrison plays a key role take the sting off the Jamaican Defense and to retain back possession to help Jamaica.
Morrison’s experience and tactical discipline will surely play a big part in the middle for Jamaica in September. Expect Morrison to play not only a major part, but to help Jamaica get 3 points.

Finally Jason, finally!!!
Now its not good enough to do this occasionally Jason, we want to see this kind of consistent play; this is the level of ball we expect to see at least 80% of the time instead of the other way around.
You, Austin & Watson boss that midfield tonight, but don't get complacent and start celebrating because this was just one game. there's Tuesday and the hex to come. Where the likes of MEX, CR, PAN, HON, are just as good. Congrats and keep it up....

Could we stop blaming the players for the USA GC game already. Everytime I think man finally came to the realization seh Tappa messed up that formation and the players were NOT at fault, you hear it regurgitated all over again...How in the world anyone expect 3 midfielders fi cover 5 disciplined midfielders is beyond me? Actually it would've been a lot worse if a better, more seasoned and disciplined Donovan had started over Bedoya.
Yet everytime a man want fi mek a point they go back to that game. If a that game unnu a point to to mek a point then the point is not worth making to anyone who knows anything about football. Mi personally will never seh anything negative about any player based on that game, to me they deserve a pass. Maybe mi will criticized the strikers' finishing, but even there mi can seh dem was too tired from chasing ghost in Tappa's formation.
The thing is did Tappa learn from that game? Give him KUDOS, it seems he has.
Unnu still have doubt about what was at fault in that game? Read any football analysis or the USA's own scouting report of what they exploited in the game and then maybe we can give it a rest. I doubt it, because I posted a lenghty article hoping for just that, yet here we are bringing it up again.
