Fuller is a free agent now...Stoke will get nothing for him, which for him, is a good thing...he can now negotiate his own terms with any club that would like to have him without a transfer fee to worry about....Stoke have the option to re-sign him as well, if they wish.
Fuller will probably be re-signed by Stoke...or a lower Premiereship club like Wigan or one of the newly promoted clubs will sign him...or he will drop back down to the Championship with a club pushing for promotion.
If Birmingham City were not under a transfer embargo right now, I can almost guarantee that they would be interested in signing him, although as a free agent, I'm not sure that they still couldn't...it wouldn't be a transfer.
Him and Marlon King in tandem in the Championship would all but guarantee Birmingham City promotion this season...mi no see no Championship defense that could contain those two together.
MLS cannot afford Fuller's wages as he would have to come as a marguee player...and his level of ball is still far above MLS standard...im no done yet, by any means.
Right now Fuller a look a 3 year deal which him more than likely can get with a championship team.So if him can get a 3 year with a side like Ipswich him good again. With the lack of transfer fee him can get a wage boost from the regular championship pay.

You might be right on that international football point Jamatl. The English clubs tend to be selfish like that. They never seem to understand the concept of national prid and expect their players to sell their souls to the club. Sir Alex has been prolific at convincing many a top player in their prime to "retire" from international football. Giggs, Scholes, Berbatov, etc. Gary Megson had an issue with Bibi playing international football some years ago. I don't mean to discount the injury issue, but there has been no study or evidence that players are more likely to get injured while on international duty than with their clubs.
I saw a comment about Ric's level of play being above MLS level. I beg to differ. I'm sure Robbie Keane and especially Thierry Henry would have a problem with that statement.

I would dis-agree with this statement also (Like, Avid). I think it would be more that the MLS teams would not see his marketability/value outside of a NYC team per say. Fuller is not a household name, outside of JAMAICA. I think alot of us continue to give little credit to MLS. While it is not the EPL or any of the top name brand league, it does have high quality teams, good players and an equally professional approach to the game as any top league world wide.
"Fuller is not a household name, outside of JAMAICA".Karl dem man de a Stoke Legend inna Stoke on Trent dem man deh large ,dem compare him to the other Stoke greats like Stanley Matthews and Greenhoff.

Ina Stoke on Trent...Would you consider Stoke among 2nd, 3rd or 4th tier level European clubs. I would not rank Stoke footballing history among the top 400 European Clubs of the last 100yrs. With ONE major trophy to their name i would NOT call SToke a major team in England. i would wager that most UK teams with the age (100+ years history) of Stoke would have at lease ONE or TWO legendary Englist players. I am not taking anything away from Fuller, but if Fuller was playing for a more known team, and his agent dangle his name in front of some MLS teams they would at least consider him, even if they could not afford him.

4th tier you serious them reach the knockout stage of the Europa league last year, valencia give them 1 love.Them reach the FA cup final 2 years ago a Man City beat them 1 love.Them comfortable survive the league the last 3 year, people might no like them style but them respect them.Anyteam a come a Brittania know say anything can happen.Stoke a decent side with a pack stadium every week and one of few prem teams fi make a profit last year.
i see you're a FAN....Stoke like every decent to good team has had its moment in the lime-light. The clubs has spent most of its existence in the lower leagues of England. As i said, Fuller is a decent baller, and on other more know teams he would have more international acclaim. I rank Stoke with Clubs like West Bromwich, Hull City, Notts County...ETC. Rich History, Great moments to be proud of, few players that under special circumstances could give good account of themselves in higher leagues, Regional Legends of the ENGLISH Game...etc
Stoke is a GOOD team, Fuller is a decent player...I would not say he is better than MLS. JUST MY OPINION
Ipswich Town’s interest in Ricardo Fuller ends as Paul Jewell refuses to panic buy
By Stuart Watson Tuesday, July 17, 2012
IPSWICH Town manager Paul Jewell’s interest in striker Ricardo Fuller has cooled as he continues to stick to a strict wage budget.
The Blues boss enquired about Fuller – a free agent after being released by Stoke City – earlier in the summer, with the 32-year-old Jamaican believed to be interested by a return to the club where he enjoyed a brief loan spell in 2006.
However, the EADT understands that more recent talks have fallen flat once figures began to be discussed.
Jewell admitted recently that he rushed into too many of his signings last summer, with the ‘free’ transfer additions of Ivar Ingimarsson, Nathan Ellington, Jimmy Bullard and – to a lesser extent – Lee Bowyer not proving good value for money.
This time around he has shown a lot more patience, sticking strictly to his transfer fee and wage valuations as he attempts to build a young squad full of hunger to play for the shirt.

come now Karl, duh bettah dan dat, it tek an outstanding playah fi carry a team from Championship level di to premier league, plus score some ah di most celebrated goals evah score by a playah of caribbean descent inna Englan. Ah doan know yuh barometer of him being compared to MLS, but being ah striker which MLS strikah has acheived any similar feat, an not any ah di premier league of foreign imports.
