We'll see if and what Hodgson can do to bring England's game any closer to what the better teams in the world are playing but I can tell anyone sey...and mi a sey it ya..and mi sey it in the pubs...it is going to be a very tough job to change the English mentality and approach to football.
Truthfully, most of England's best young players are now of Jamaican heritage, at the top levels of football...
If Jamaica ever gets its act together, they should be competing for these players...
I wonder whether Daniel Sturridge would now consider switching to Jamaica if asked...he will never be an England regular, even if Hidgson decides to change the make-up of England's side, which he will definitely have to.
Robbie Earl was in exactly the same position with England at the same stage of his career, although he was older than Sturridge...
