Having watched Taylor play full back for Houston, I say give him right back. The whole backline are masters at ball distribution , except for lovel . With Taylor there we will look so composed moving the ball.

Lovell had a reasonable game and did his job. Used the ball better than Virgo. So I guess we'll see.

No need to move Phillips, he's doing PLENTY damage from where he is !

I beg to differ, Taylor plays well at left back as he does on the right and Phillips would be even more effective for us if he played Left Mid in stead of Left back understand. I think another one of the ites commented on how well Phillips played when Mariappa was covering him, if we have Taylor cover him the left side lock. Palmer can continue to play Right back for us.

-----------------Miller (if Ricketts is still out)--------------
Palmer------Nugsy-------------Marriapa-------------------Taylor--

Richards----------Austin------Morrison------------------Phillips

Johnson--Shelton

I would put money on this being exactly Jamaica's starting line-up against Antigua..or..the same team starting that started against Guatemala, with Jermaine Taylor on the bench.

Peeps seem to think that Jermaine is an automatic inclusion in Jamaica's starting 11 once he's free from suspension...not necessarily so...why should Tappa change a winning team just to accomodate him...Antigua is not a team where Jamaica needs to reinforce defensively...as we will need to do against the USA.

Demar can continue in that nominal left-back position...that is only where he lines up at kick-off anyway...Demar is Jamaica's secret (well, not so secret) attacking weapon...and the player that ALL CONCACAF teams need to fear.

Jamaica will need that reinforced defense with Taylor playing a proper left back against the USA...and Demar creating and attacking from left-midfield.

Against the really strong CONCACAF sides like the USA, to use Demar as a left-back, where he will have to really defend for most of a game..he is a liability...he does not read the game as a defender and he cannot tackle properly...against lesser sides, its his speed of recovery that has him making tackles, which he then flies into, sometimes feet-first and off the ground...that is a red card waiting to happen...and has happened in the past.

Mi no see no player out there now that Tappa needs to give that starting right-back spot to...except Lovell Palmer.

He is the man for that job, imo.

Nominal for sure Ric, it was a soft 3-5-2 set out there.

I agree that against the USA we need to have 4 defenders. I'm just hoping Tappa have a different look for the USA. Now he's using Dane & Phillips on the same side which is a different look and Jevaughn on the right. However the right side wasn't effective especially in the first half.

Against Panama same midfield line up to the left with Fuller on the right. he wasn't effective either on the right.

We can't have one side of our attack ineffective because wing play is our strength. Not much coming through the middle as we all know due to the lack of a creative player operating there. Tappa need fi figure this out this out quick. Jevaughn was ineffective in the first half of the Guate game.

If Humphrey's was here he could have being the answer to the right side if Jevaughn not pulling his weight. He'll be missed cause both Fuller & Jevaughn haven't done much (except for the second half against a worn out Guate team) on the right side of play.

Hopefully by August 15th friendly against an African side we'll figured this with Jobi & Pratley coming in.

Errol Stevens was going to be brought on and he would have been effective on the right side. However, the Ricketts sub meant he has to stay seated. He would have been major worries for Guatemala.

Hopefully Pratley will be comfortable riding the bench.

Causion you ca discount a balla playing at the highest level as well as his gift level. It's just an adjustment Fuller needs to his game and where Tappa uses him.

Shelton was playing the last game just as how Fuller should have being playing it. Not just taking on defenders, but showing imagination, needle passes, and combo plays on the ball to diversify game. Fuller lack these things in the first two games against Panama; too much dribbling and not enough of the other attacking intangibles.

You're going to see how valuable Fuller is in a tight match against USA. If he doesn't start he'll get at least a half, but he will be instrumental for us in that game September 7th. a yard.

I never said Antigua is more skilled than Jamaica...But they play with more heart to me..since this is their first time at this stage...they are the underdogs in every game and they want to prove people wrong..so this game here will be a fight. Can guarantee you that.

TBH i think Jamaica gave a great account for themselves, if it wasnt for the crossbar we would hve won more comfortably(4-1,5-1)

Players do not forget your six studs....The cricket pitch will be tricky to navigate!!! Anyone who has played at Jarret Park should be ok.

It is said that Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller will be at the match. How true it is I can't say.

But I guess (if it is true) her presence can help to galvanize the Jamaican diaspora supporters and help to possibly nullify the fervent Antiguan 12th man.
