Weh yu mad now 'bout. You must learn to be forward-looking, thus you can avoid certain things. Poor baby, always a react to circumstances.

You more than anyone else should understand and appreciate the importance of discipline within a group and stop talking foolishness.

What should I have against Jamaican players based in England except for the reason I enumerated which again are proven correct? The JFF rendered them useless by calling them this late in the process and their commitment is to be assured.

I think I've been here longer than you, so you can't run mi noweh.

Did the curfew issue happen in Panama or Jamaica?

Mi neva want bring up di man religion, that's why mi just point out to him that him should know better. Di man is a staunch follower of Farrakhan and everytime Farrakhan open his mouth he bestow the virtue of discipline. Discipline is probably Farrakhan's main calling card, yet he is here talking $hit. Him should ask Farrakhan if discipline is dependent on the possibility of losing if it is imposed and see if Farrakhan no tell him that you MIGHT lose by imposing discipline, but you are SURE to lose if you do not.

People these two players as much as we would like? They were not starters in tappa opinion. This squad is a improvement over the gold cup squad. We just missing one or two players from competing with Mexico and the USA. Tappa got the core of his squad he made some improvement with Fuller, Stevens, nugsy, mapps

Wow! I hope this move does not become a distraction within the squad, hopefully it brings them together and builds the chemistry. I do like the squad he called up though, nice to see he brought Errol Stevens back into the fold. I was a bit puzzled at his initial exclusion.

This is very interesting. I said a few days ago that watch Tappa drop the "farin" players, and we could see this happening already. No second chance for Humphrey? King has had his problems, but... He did not want these guys, and one could see it. Yes, I am for discipline and having all players respect the rules, but there was an interesting comment in the paper yesterday that might give a clue. In Sean Williams's Observer piece, his paragraph, fourth from the bottom of the article, said this:

With a switch in the strike pair at half-time with the surprise entry of a supposedly "injured" Marlon King for Ricardo Fuller and Luton Shelton for Ryan Johnson, Jamaica looked a more dangerous team going forward for the first 25 minutes of the half.

I think that Williams knew something was going on, as some of us suspected. Tappa also does not seem to want Mariappa or Nugsy, and "injuries" will be used to excuse their being benched or dropped. This was always going to be an issue, because we could see that if they really wanted to try some of these overseas ballers, they would have started this process earlier.

Hail up the Patty League, and its chief patty maker.

Unfortunately, Williams was wrong. Our attack became less potent after Fuller and Johnson came off.

I was shocked and disappointed when I saw the newspaper headline. I thought it was some FIFA infraction or something like that. But when I saw that it was as a result of indicipline I was overjoyed. Strange, but true. I was happy to see that it was we who inflict this move and not coming from outside. Tappa stood up for DICIPLINE, a rear commodity when it comes to star ballas. I see this of victory for dicipline over indicipline.

I am sad to see them left out (because I was looking forward for both of them to play, but, dicipline comes first for me, even at the expence of winning!!!. Of course I want to win but, not at the ransom of indicipline!

But this from today's Gleaner thickens the stew:

King, a long-time Reggae Boy, was actually withdrawn from the starting team for the Panama game last Friday with defender Nyron Nosworthy, because Whitmore said he had a "niggling" injury and preferred to rest him for this Friday's important WCQ game against Guatemala at 'The Office'.

"Both players (King and Nosworthy) are nursing niggling injuries and for me, it made no sense to start them in today's game and risk injuring them further," Whitmore had said on Friday ahead of the Panama game. "We will need them in the more important game against Guatemala next Friday, so we have to manage them carefully and ensure that they are fully fit and available for selection then."

As it turns out, King, not for the first time, has ruled himself out of Jamaica's team for transgressing the team's disciplinary code, given an offence that took place between the end of the game and the team's departure from Panama.

http://jamaica-gleaner.com/gleaner/20120604/sports/sports1.html

While I still have my suspicions, I am happy to see Morrison recalled, and Lovell Palmer has been playing well:

The squad sees the recall of midfielder Jason Morrison and Tremaine Stewart, as well as Lovell Palmer, Errol Stevens and Jermaine

Taylor, who is suspended for Friday's game.

The squad is completed by Donovan Ricketts, Dwayne Miller, Demar Phillips, Xavian Virgo, Nyron Nosworthy, Damion Stewart, Adrian Mariappa, Claude Davis, Rohan Reid, Ewan Grandison, Joel Senior, Keammar Daley, Luton Shelton, Ryan Johnson, Ricardo Fuller, Je-Vaughn Watson, Dane Richards and Rudolph Austin.

Replacements in the 22-man World Cup-qualifying squad are expected.

http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/sports/BA...-rules_11604871

I do agree with G DAWG that the players did not respect Tappa, but I am not so sure that Tappa "respects" them either. Until it is proven different, we will only see him play UB40s if he is ordered to, or if he is desperate. Will King and Humphrey be recalled after two games? We'll see.

It's interesting that Firparkcorner.com, a Motherwell fan site, had this to say:

Opinion among Jamaican fans seems to be split on the decision. Some argue that the squad rules are there to be obeyed but others suggest that a quiet word or a fine would have been more appropriate.

In any event it seems that Humphrey's season has now ended and he can have a few weeks relaxation before starting pre-season training at Fir Park later this month.

To be a successful team discipline is key, we dont need 31 year old King who is indiscipline,Chris Humphrey is a bench man most of the time since Ratty Daley took is starting role. The Key to Ja Rio trip is fixing the defence, using our speed in Midfield with accurate passes keeping the ball in our possession. I never think using english based players would solve the problem. they have carried english based players from 2000- 2010 World cup qualifiers and they dont make a differences. What we need is lion hearted players that would die for the Ja. flag dont settle for Draw for losses. I have admired Ryan Johnson, he is not one of the best forwards but his work rate is exceptional! He fought with his worthless Toronto FC in the Champions league till he was tired for the new MLS season! We need more discipline committed player! We dont need Carl Brown he had the team on 4 different stints, and still was not successful as Tappa Fact! Right now Ja. needs to just watch the games and then comment after, cause we cant do no better than Tappa. To me the best coach would be John Barnes!
