...for breaking curfew.

I imagine this will not be good for opinion on "UB40s," though Humphrey was born in Jamaica.

The JFF Advises
June 3, 2012 Filed under Articles, Featured Posts, Jamaica National Teams, Men's Senior News, National Mens News, National News, News, Press Releases, Teams Posted by JamFedadmin
The Jamaica Football Federation wishes to advise that Head Coach of the National Senior team, Theodore ‘Tappa’ Whitmore has taken the decision to drop Marlon King and Chris Humphrey from the squad for the first two World Cup Qualifying games for breaking curfew rules.

This decision is consistent with the head’s Coach’s zero tolerance approach for acts of indiscipline and indiscretion.

The team has returned to its training base at Braco and will continue preparations for the opening World Cup Qualifier on Friday, June 8 at
8:30 pm at the National Stadium.

Doesn't matter what kind of curfew them under. If them know a certain set of rules in place and is them one break it, then Tappa is correct in doing what he is doing.

I will wait for the full story, but if I have to give the benefit of the doubt to someone, it is certainly going to be Tappa ahead of King.

This does not surprise me one bit.

These guys do not regularly spend their holidays in Jamaica and they were given no free time.

The Horace's must eliminate any serious competition for their "CHOSEN" players.

Notice that Jason Morrison was dropped for no reason and replaced by Rohan Reid/Ewan Grandison

Typical Italian mafiaosso style by the JFF.

I guess they learned a few things while signing the Kappa deal in Turin.

This is total Rubbish!

A wah do dem man ya? Yu have an already weak squad and fi spite yu face yu cut offf yu nose...

I could have sense this coming, the limited time Humphrey was getting was really telling me that they were looking to cut him, them get an excuse and watch waaah guh happen...wi naah guh hear bout Humphrey again.

The man is a new invitee and u cut him for 2 qualifiers...crap dat, discipline or no...mi nuh born yesterday, a nuh suh yu do it.

So much for giving King the captain's arm band. Remember my 5 step program ;\) Unfortunate for Humphries though, seems he could have been a good playmaker. I don't feel it for King at all, but Humphries got zero tolerance while Lowe, Gardner and other have gotten away with worse on the field and I could talk about Tappa's reputation as a driver. I'm against indiscipline too but also against selective application of the rules. Oh well....

It would be interesting to hear the full story...the two sides. I wonder if they are going to recall Navion Boyd?
