Yesterday, Greg Sutton replaced Donovan Ricketts because of an injury in the Montreal vs Colorado game. Who is our number 2 because Dwayne Miller doesn't inspire confidence in me.

Dwayne Miller a mistake waiting to happen? When did he fall down the pecking order? Is there bias in the argument here or true reasoning?

Based on what I have seen, he seems more stable than Barrett to me...so again...whats the issue wid Miller?

We are NOT that deep folks.

I remember some ites bashing Sean Johnson (Chicago Fire) a short while back because we did not "need" anyone..Shawn Sawyers blah, blah, blah......Funny how the USA keeps looking for keepers......Jamaica on the other hand would still have Kasey Keller in goal....aahhhh bwoy. I hope some of us will be able to see past our noses some day.

de Oliveira still unsure

By Nodley Wright, Staff Reporter

TECHNICAL director Clovis de Oliveira has still not made up his mind about Canada-born goalkeeper Hubert Busby Jr. after watching new the recruit for two and a half days.

Twenty-nine-year-old Busby whose mother is Jamaican and who spent his formative years here arrived in the island last Thursday to try out for a place as goalkeeper in the national team ahead of a crucial World Cup qualifier against Trinidad and Tobago next Wednesday.

"We are going to have all the week long," de Oliveira said after the training session at Harbour View yesterday in response to a question about the player securing a place in the squad.

"I will tell everyone on Friday even though we have an idea and one of his strong points is his communication with the players. He talks a lot but I cannot say," de Oliveira continued.

The Brazilian was more willing however to speak about first string goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts who is suffering from a pelvic injury. "The good thing though regarding the goalkeepers is the return of Donovon Ricketts.

"He has started training with us and has been with us all day and we are are going to get him going progressively. This morning he trained with Denise (Roberts, team physiotherapist), riding a bicycle, doing some stretches.

"We have to be very careful but the good aspect regarding this is that the MRI did not show any major injury so that is great news for us. Regarding his recovery I spoke with Paul Campbell and he said 'coach don't worry regarding the technical aspect, as soon as he can do everything I will make him fit for the game'.

"That is very important news for the group and we needed to have a very good news at the beginning of the week and we had it," de Oliveira said.

Miller has fumbled, missed a cross, drop the ball, do whatever other foolishess in almost every game he has played for Jamaica.
From his most recent cap to the game against Argentina.

It will be very interesting to see how the next game against Panama pans out if Ricketts is injured & unable to play. Let's see what Miller can do. After the friendly with New Zealand & last nights game against Panama there is concern but then I am completely biased and hoping Jacomeno Barrett will be on the WCQ team.
