David Hoilett (born June 5, 1990 in Ottawa, Ontario) is a Canadian professional football (soccer) player. His position on the field is striker. Hoilett is currently playing on loan with German second division side FC St. Pauli. His brother Janeil Hoilett played for Blackburn Rovers.

In Summer 2008 David Hoilett started playing for FC St. Pauli.

He made his début for Paderborn against Kickers Offenbach, after being a substitute for Sven Lintjens[1] . Paderborn won the match 3-2. Hoilett's first match in the starting eleven was against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim[2] .

His former team mate, Mamadi Keita, called Hoilett his most skillful and best team mate at the Blackburn Rovers Youth Academy.[3]

No, its not a joke. Its straight from the horses mouth. Junior as most people know him as has not accepted invites from both countries as of yet but is leaning towards Jamaica. His family (father) has much of a grudge against the OSA because David was cut from the u14 Team Ontario when he was 13 for being under age because parents where complained and politics prevailed again in Canada. So he is very reluctant to play for Canada... I'm not really discussing it so you can rebuttle what ever you must or feel like but you'll see when it happens.
