Daley scores as Meadhaven return atop Super League

Keammar Daley scored the lone goal on Saturday as Meadhaven defeated Cavalier 1-0 to return atop the VMBS/KSAFA Super League.

The win pushed Meadhaven to 15 points - one more than Bull Bay, who were held 0-0 by the JDF, who are third on 12 points.

In other games, Maverley/Hughenden edged Mountain View 1-0 to stay fourth with 11 points and Constant Spring jumped to fifth with seven points after their 3-1 victory over Elletson Flats.

Horace Wilson's double against Rockfort gave Duhaney Park their first win of the campaign, while Police and Santos played to a 0-0 tie.

In Major League action, Real Mona continued their impressive start to the season, hammering Greenwich Town 10-2 to move to maximum 18 points from six matches atop the table.

Khareem Hall bagged four goals for the leaders, with Stefan Plummer getting a hat-trick and Kevin Riley a double. Jair Gooden netted the other goal.

Real Mona are followed in the standings by Liguanea, Olympic Gardens and Rae Town - all on 10 points.

In other games, Liguanea and Seaview drew 1-1, Swallowfield turned back UTech 2-0, Rae Town clipped Cooreville 4-3, Central Kingston stopped Brown's Town 4-2, while Barbican and Olympic ended 0-0.

In the Syd Bartlett League, Port Royal's 1-0 win over Maxfield kept them atop the table with eight points.

In other matches, Molynes defeated Meadforest 2-1, Allman/Woodford edged Swallowfield 2-1, and New Kingston upset ISCF by a similar scoreline.
