I am confused. You mention "Well Claude Davis (Crawley Town FC) and Damion Stewart (Bristol City FC) are once again playing regular football over the past three(3) weeks".

Then in your next post you post " Now that the sweepers are history, the centre-backs, like the modern goalkeepers, need to be able to do more with their feet. In La Liga, to challenge for the top four positions without this type of player is now unthinkable".

Tappa or any national caoch is not in a position to retrain any player. That is their clubs responsiblity. At this stage Tappa must pick the players that has the qualities that he wants and ignore those that never had it,dont have it and will never attain it.

There is a reason why these players are not regulars on their sub-level club teams. Why do you then think they should be considred for Jamaica National team.

What is the reason why they have been left off the team. I would love to know because the ones we have used over the past 2 years are not as good as Claude or Stewpeas. Matter of fact I'd take old foot Pepe over them.

Yes, it's true that we have no current defenders of the quality of these three. Yes, Pepe is old, and yes, Claude is in League Two and not quite the player he once was, but Damion has regained his position in the Championship and is playing well. I watched him last week, and he has refound his confidence. However, He will not be recalled, because Tappa and the JFF have banished him.

We need to recruit ballers from professional environments for our backline, because the low level local league will not do.
