Right now TAPPA & the JFF have to begun seeing the local base selectees as B-quality invitees. Distinction have to be made between A quality & B quality players.

None of the top premier league ballers out of JA that have being given a chance with the seniors were able to hold down a starting position, or distinguish themselves. Out of the bunch KEAMAR was the most promising, yet at the DCC cup he was not ready for a starting 11 spot. Right there that's crucial evidence to the fact that local base is B-quality.

Now Keamar belongs on the A-squad, he proved himself.

ERROL STEVENS also is B-quality; though he did look promising aginst Columbia it was easy to tell that the pace, quickness in decision making, concentration was a notch above what he was used to, he said so himself.

This is where I believe that TAPPA/JFF need to really organize their player pool and not mix every one together. Since we do not have a truly professional league but semi pro, it's necessary to make the distinction. This will prevent the senior team from quality drain. For example the right back (don't remember name) who started against Columbia looks like an high school footballer out there. Having a B-squad wiil rectify a situation such as this of a player not up standard not only was on the senior team but started as well.

I don't think a B-quality player should be drafted out of Jamaica's league into the senior team; there should be stepping stones first.

The JFF need to bring more prestige, a higher standard to the senior team that when a B-player is promoted it's done so through hard work in the B-squad, and a baller will feel previledge and important being a part of the seniors.

I believe having a legitimate B-side that as a group they can train with the A-side giving them quality competition for an upcoming fixture. The B-squad would be good competition for Caribbean teams on FIFA non official match days.

Time ro start thinking outside the box....
