Like I said before and will say it again, he needs another dimention to his game to move career forward. The days of the pure playmaker (Valderama) is thing of past. Teams are looking for more bang for their bucks like a Essien, Gerrad and Boateng etc. Daley lacks pace so he will need to add some scoring (scoring threat for ja) or some defense and up his workrate.

Football is not a way game. Everybody talk bout how good our passsing game looks when he come in the game. What about when the other team has the ball and we have to defend? Style points dont count in standings, thats why Tappa keeps Austin and Morrison in the lineup.

Excellent points, fire! The game is as much what you do without the ball, and that is what I have been trying to say. That's why I noted that even the "poetic" teams are hard running and working. Xavi does as much work off the ball as he does on it. And Daley has yet to play against top level opposition on a consistent basis, so he has a long way to go.

Distributor, some peeps might think I'm giving Daley a fight but that's not the case at all. Daley is our best pure passer but I stil have Jevaughn Watson rated ahead of him. Tappa could easily gone with Watson instead yesterday cause he can pass as well. I really think Tappa is looking put Daley in the shop window for MLS scouts.... Watson already a eat a food.

Again, we agree. Jevaughan is an excellent passer, as he has been demonstrating this season in Houston, and as he showed with his beautiful flick to set up Rat Daley's goal against Grenada. But you are right that Tappa is looking out for the younger Daley; he sees some of himself in the youth. I hope that he gets a professional contract soon, but the ites must not assume that he is already the second coming of Ronaldinho.
