Yesterday i saw Thierry Henry playing in an exhibition game with Steve Nash and others. But throughtout all of this i saw Salomon Kalou from Chelsea. Kalou is a product of good training nothing more nothing less. He works hard and is extremely fast but to be brutually honest he is another striker while Thierry is just skilled and silk smooth was expecting to see Viera or Zidane but no luck. Then i remember they are Adidas not Nike so that would be a no go since it was a Nike event. Kalou made me realize that Jamaica will have a player in one of the top leagues very soon. Also there was Steve Mc (former RM) and Robbie Fowler . Steve is skilled but Robbie got fat and the life but still good. Thierry control and his ability to beat players off the dribble effortless he makes it look easy and he is pretty big. Steve Nash can sort of ball but he could not be a prof soccer player unless him have Bahamas citizenship.

my2cents, I was at the event as well at Sara D Roosevelt field. Didn't know you were in NY as well. It is interesting watching Henry up close. His talent is obvious even though it was just a fun charity event. I completely agree with you on Kalou, he just seems to be a very hard worker and I see no reason why one of our own can't play for a big club, bearing in mind once again that this was just a fun charity event with Baron Davis providing the comic relief.

You are kind of harsh on Steve Nash since he has spent his professional life playing basketball. If he decided to play football, I'm sure he would be better.

There is a league i play in with steve nash and even Yorri and always heard Steve was talented so i expected this guy who had alot of skill... He can run for days but apart from that he was very average extremely humble and simple guy. A rumour going around is tha CR is buying a condo in Tribeca so you might see more of him. Last year i saw Zlatan runing up the hudson river.
Steve Nash would be a Kalou type of player. Nothing that fancy but henry skill is out of this world. Maybe i know who you are and just not online.
Hmmmmm told Henry he should goto Jamaica he just smiled. We need stuff like this inna Ja

I think Henry is now contracted to Reebok.
