He is a goalscorer. He can be one of the best local ballers Jamaica has. In the NPL he is unstoppable

Unfortunately, CONCACAF is not the NPL.

I see the defence again being the weak link however left back has the most depth with Woodbine,Phillips and Gardner capable of starting.

It would be nice if Gardener play in the middle. He does not have the top speed anymore for LB but he is still the best we have.

Why?

Why ???.
Maybe we have better forwards than him outside the NPL.
In my oppinion like all other prograns the top goalscorer in your league should warrant consideration. Always!

He probably would have been authomatic in most other programs.

Can anyone provide anymore information on the new Reggae Boyz

Lee Williamson
WATFORD'S Lee Williamson is a Derby born midfielder who started his career with Mansfield where he made 150 appearances before moving to Northampton Town. He signed for Rotherham United in the summer of 2005 and then with Watford in 2007, so far making 33 appearances and scoring two goals. He is a A talented midfielder who can operate down the middle or on the right hand side. He qualifies to represent Jamaica through his father's side of the family.

Simon Ford
Simon Ford is a 28 year old defender currently playing for Kilmarnock in the Scottish Premier League. He began his career at Charlton Athletic but never saw first team action at the club. He moved on to Grimsby Town in 2001 making 78 appearances and scoring 4 goals. Ford joined Kilmarnock in 2004. He is of Jamaican parents and is the nephew of former Rangers and Liverpool winger Mark Walters

Omar Cummings
Omar Cummings is a 5-10, 165 lbs striker from Old Harbor in Jamaica and represents the Colorado Rapids in the USA Major League Soccer. After being drafted in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft. He caught the eyes of Rapids Head Coach Fernando Clavijo who noticed Cummings talent as he helped the Rapids win the reserve team championship in 2007. He is a fast, explosive player with a great work ethics and an eye for goals. He was a two-time unanimous All-Big East selection in his two years at Cincinnati. Before joining the Bearcats, Cummings, earned NJCAA All-American honors at Cincinnati State.

On the Sunderland site (see list below) Nosworthy is listed as a JA international.
Jones, Edwards and Yorke are listed as Trinidad nationals.

No. Position Player
1 GK Craig Gordon
2 DF Greg Halford
4 MF Dickson Etuhu
5 DF Nyron Nosworthy (JAMAICA)
6 DF Paul McShane
7 MF Carlos Edwards (TRINIDAD)
8 MF Dean Whitehead (captain)
9 FW Anthony Stokes
10 MF Kieran Richardson
11 FW Daryl Murphy
12 MF Liam Miller
13 GK Darren Ward
14 DF Danny Higginbotham
15 DF Danny Collins
16 FW Michael Chopra
17 FW Kenwyne Jones (TRINIDAD)
18 MF Grant Leadbitter
19 FW Dwight Yorke (vice-captain) (TRINIDAD)

If Nosworthy lists his international affiliation as Jamaica then maybe there is hope. I disagree with Scallawah Nosworthy is better than 90% of the defensive players on the JA squad.

Info on Evan Taylor:

Taylor seems to be a young goalscoring midfielder on the Reno U-21 squad.

In my opinion what Simoes is doing is adding many quality midfielders that are also capable of scoring goals example Evan Taylor, Andy Williams and Jermaine Johnson. He also wanted to add experience and depth on the defensive line so he drafted Simon Ford and experienced day in day out professional in the Scotish Premier League. He also recalled Claude Davis after a long layoff which is very interesting.

A wonder if evan taylor a di same little shorty malcolm incarnate mi did a tell unnu bout? Him play pon di U21, run from now till a morning and av heart like shorty. but moreover him av skills weh shorty neva av. A really wonda if a that short black youth bout 5 feet 2?

Zilla..i never saw this youth play but if him anything like shorty it is a plus in the side. However i'm still looking for that skillful midfielder to take over from 'Tappa',Williams or even Hue so we can move on and stop living in di past.If this kid plays similar to any of those players that would be good.

We know Simoes is good at finding young talent..remember a certain 17yr old from Wolmers named Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardner???/

the inclusion of the players such as andy williams and ricketts specailly gardener is totally important for this team we need people who have been there and down it before and still can provide something for us. Deon Burton still my have something in him if fit he will be lucky in front of goal but i would have liked a young striker from npl now way urton in front of fuller king and shelton . I dont know where we getting any creativity in our team from what happen to Jermaine Hue guess we going try with some pace on the wings and andy and a holding midfielder player in the middle or cant have a brazillian manager and be totally defencesive can we ?
