I see the defence again being the weak link however left back has the most depth with Woodbine,Phillips and Gardner capable of starting.
Im surprised that Rohan Nelson never got picked. This man is clever. He is exactly wat Jamaica needs
Why?
Why ???. Maybe we have better forwards than him outside the NPL. In my oppinion like all other prograns the top goalscorer in your league should warrant consideration. Always!
He probably would have been authomatic in most other programs.
Can anyone provide anymore information on the new Reggae Boyz

On the Sunderland site (see list below) Nosworthy is listed as a JA international. Jones, Edwards and Yorke are listed as Trinidad nationals.
No. Position Player 1 GK Craig Gordon 2 DF Greg Halford 4 MF Dickson Etuhu 5 DF Nyron Nosworthy (JAMAICA) 6 DF Paul McShane 7 MF Carlos Edwards (TRINIDAD) 8 MF Dean Whitehead (captain) 9 FW Anthony Stokes 10 MF Kieran Richardson 11 FW Daryl Murphy 12 MF Liam Miller 13 GK Darren Ward 14 DF Danny Higginbotham 15 DF Danny Collins 16 FW Michael Chopra 17 FW Kenwyne Jones (TRINIDAD) 18 MF Grant Leadbitter 19 FW Dwight Yorke (vice-captain) (TRINIDAD)
If Nosworthy lists his international affiliation as Jamaica then maybe there is hope. I disagree with Scallawah Nosworthy is better than 90% of the defensive players on the JA squad.
Goalkeepers: Shawn Sawyers, Donovan Ricketts and Dwayne Miller
Defenders: Claude Davis, Tyrone Marshall, Demar Stewart, Ian Goodison, Adrian Reid, Keneil Moodie, Obrian Woodbine, Jermaine Taylor, Simon Ford
Midfield: Andy Williams, Richard Langley, Ricardo Gardner, Jermaine Johnson, Lee Williamson, Oneil Thomspon, Rudolph Austin, Omar Daley, Demar Phillips, Jamal Campbell-Rice and Evan Taylor
Taylor seems to be a young goalscoring midfielder on the Reno U-21 squad.
In my opinion what Simoes is doing is adding many quality midfielders that are also capable of scoring goals example Evan Taylor, Andy Williams and Jermaine Johnson. He also wanted to add experience and depth on the defensive line so he drafted Simon Ford and experienced day in day out professional in the Scotish Premier League. He also recalled Claude Davis after a long layoff which is very interesting.

Zilla..i never saw this youth play but if him anything like shorty it is a plus in the side. However i'm still looking for that skillful midfielder to take over from 'Tappa',Williams or even Hue so we can move on and stop living in di past.If this kid plays similar to any of those players that would be good.
We know Simoes is good at finding young talent..remember a certain 17yr old from Wolmers named Ricardo 'Bibi' Gardner???/
the inclusion of the players such as andy williams and ricketts specailly gardener is totally important for this team we need people who have been there and down it before and still can provide something for us. Deon Burton still my have something in him if fit he will be lucky in front of goal but i would have liked a young striker from npl now way urton in front of fuller king and shelton . I dont know where we getting any creativity in our team from what happen to Jermaine Hue guess we going try with some pace on the wings and andy and a holding midfielder player in the middle or cant have a brazillian manager and be totally defencesive can we ?
