Fair enough...in all seriousness T&T got what they wanted from their team - your lads showed character. I can go into all the players missing from our squad - but they way I see it, it was Jamaica playing - not a A or B team. But do you really believe that was our full strenght team that started or finished the game.
From my viewpoint - both halves of the game showed exactly what we've got. Right now to a man I think I am a bit more comfortable with the progress of my team than you are with yours.

Nobody fielded their best team Nobody played their best 11 present for the full 90. Many changes made It was obvious both coaches are searching for the formula and willing to experiment and try things.
Why the fussing ? The game means nothing except for what simoes learned about his players and Trinidad coach about his.
On the day our best 11 was better than your best 11 so we maintain the edge amongst the B teams.
Trini have a big upside since this is "the u23 team" manhandling our more experienced "C" team in the 2nd half.
Qustion to ask. Will these u23 players form a part of the trini team when the other guys join ?
I know Simoes is pretty much trying to figure out who will be his local outfit and these games are about that and these guys represent the foundation of our team. Many of them may not start but they will be in the squad so is a reflection of our team strength even thou some may want to dismiss that.
If the Trini coach is playing people who are not expected to have a chance in his team he is pretty much wasting trini money.
I'm sure simoes is looking for squad members so would never play a u23 team unless they are also candidates for the senior team.

trutrini - I like you style you can actually argue for your team without being disrespectful. It will be hard for these "kids" to work so hard only to be pushed aside by some bigger name player when it matters most. T&T will need to get their overseas players together sooner rather than later as no matter how good they are individually they will need time to gell as a team.
