lionpaw di man was poor we know it but he has potential , he played agressive with signs of good intentions however his poor decision making killed his game completely

I am more impressed with Dane Richards than Jamal Campbell-Ryce but their is a role for both players in the squad.
Ricketts - solid Marshall - good game, composed, lack full match fitness Stewart - solid Goodison - Time to pass the torch Gardner - solid but looked fatique at the end. Phillips - Good match JCR - needs to play more team ball Fuller - Solid but took a knock King - Solid but needs to build chemistry Austin - Solid especially for a 23 year old Morrison - In over his head Daley - Nice spark
Before we start critisize the Players and Coaches we need to look at the Playing surface. Haven't herd anyone here mention the Poor quality of the Stadium surface. U will neva get a quality game playing on a Bumpy Ass surface like that.however redid the Stadium surface did a lousy job.
For the last time, It was Phillips who took that bicycle kick and not Ryce. Ryce was awful bredrin. We can find plenty ballers in the local league that run up and down all game and have no end result like him. No need to send for a UB40 to do that. I'm jus checking the Stoke board as I type and look what they had to say about him...
Lion, Seem like most people round here think only an english born player can make a spectacular kick like that. Really poor game by Cambpell ryce. I really don't see how u can play an effective midfield dribbling with u head down all the time.
Campbell Rhyce yesterday was worse than Jermaine Johnson with the brucky boo behaviour. If he keeps that up JJ or Omar Daley will be taking his place very soon.
Morrisson was over his head.Just awful.Fuller had a terrible game and campbell-ryce was the worst of all.Midfield on a whole needs improvement, and i think is our werak link.Just not much vision right now coming from that position.King had a good game, although misiinig an easy chance, but was very workman like.Gardner did his duties for his position.Marshall as usual Mr.Reliable had a workmanlike game.Phillips was good in spots;need to see more of him to make a judgement.I thought Wolfe had a nice game when brought in,and i definitely want to see more from him.My final grade is a C+.Midfield needs big imprvement.
Lionpaw thanks for setting me straight on who executive that spectacular overhead kick but I still maintain that Campbell-Ryce was not as awful as you guys believe. The man run at the oponents for the entire time that he was on the field. One of the things that we have accused our local players of is their tendency to take plays off during the game(not playing for 90 minutes). I do not believe that that will be a problem with Campbell-Ryce. Jermaine Johnson with all his skill and talent has consistently been accused of taking plays off especially when the ball his not at his feet going forward. Unlike Jermaine, Jamaal plays both side of the ball being a nemesis for the opponent in attack and defending. I will go as far as stating that for the right midfield position I'd have JJ has third in line behind Campbell-Ryce and Dane Richards. However, even if Jermaine is the third string RM, his ability to play striker would allow his inclusion in my squad.

Brush, we have good options for right mid, but, from what I've seen lately JJ is the best fit for the position. he has improved significantly and has much better decision making than JCR. Given a shot he will take over that position. Incidentally, JJ can play in all the mid spots not just on the right.
