I think it is good time to give Dane Richards, sometime to solidify his club career in New York, so he will be fully match fit between March and November 2008, when we will truly need him.

Dane Richards is in his 2nd season as a pro. The MLS season ended in November 2007, so he has not played a full match since. Now, Red Bull New York training camp start Feb 1st, and Dane will need to fight from day one(1) to keep his job as one of the eight(8) international roster player per team. Basically, leave him alone now but call him up once he is getting regular first team action.
Have a camp where we have our overseas pros and the rrrr...em...aaaahh...uuuhhh...rrrrru...eeehhh....the not so pretty marbles dem in camp at the same time. This way the rrrr...ehhh...uuhh yuh know what i'm trying to say... can be exposed to higher standard of play as they are gradually integrated into the senior team. You can evaluate and develop potential senior players without having a rux around di whirl tour.
Was this so difficult?

I agree with u 99.9% except Sheton is in the side for what to get match fitness????JJ look impressive to everyone who watched the last match he played for his club he looks to be on form. Will he be replacing King when he turns down the call???

I mentioned before Shelton will need to start showing some results at the club level to prove his deserves a call. He needs to start playing 60+ minutes on a regular basis or he might drop down the picking order. I would still take 20 minutes of Shelton over 60 minutes of JJ.

You telling me u would rather take a player who score 2 goals from the bigining of his season as to one that has 11 goals in form and is on his way to Premeir league

First of all one is 22 years old , the other is 28 years old. So if would rather take on that scores 2 and sets up 15, than on that scores 12 and sets uo 2. Which one is consistantly the better team player?

Don't get me wrong we went to Wolmer's Boys' together at the same time and he represented H.View but the topic at hand is JJ is inform why is Shelton a first/safe pick over JJ.When the last time he delivered???

I would take the one that would finish infront of goal instead of passing or looking for a pass.

JJ would have been one of my selection, but we don't know all the details. Shelton pick is not at the expense of JJ; Daley and Cambell-Ryce pre-emted him.
