Lionpaw,
Is Ricardo Cousins pulling double duty for Portmore playing u21 matches on Friday evening and NPL matches on Sunday?
He only plays the important games for the U21. Like end of round finals and top of the table clashes. Vernon does too, but the difference is Vernon doesn't figure in all the senior team matches, unlike Cousins. Cousins has had a long season and I think it is showing now, even though he scored last match.

Lionpaw,
I would tend to agree with you in regards to Cousins since he has to play with the u20s, pan am team, u23, Portmore senior team, Portmore u21 and Jamaica senior national team in 2006-2008. He needs to be paced over the next six-months.

Hopefully Portmore is giving Ricardo Cousins a rest since they clinched the NPL title. He will have a busy June with the senior national team as he attempts to make the transistion to valuable senior national team player. He definately has the skills but nutrition, fitness and professionalism will take him to the next level. Also him better not waste his time in the Brooklyn Summer League as some of our past national team players have done.
