. . .I quote what you say i.e in your words, you say Golding called Simpson-Miller Hitler which I have not seen or heard reported anywhere and I am the one spinning? Please post what Golding said about the Prime Minister and Hitler.

Yeah.. But not in the context that I said it.. You are picking exerpts and what you like fi support your argument, but you want me to post what golding said. You who went to the trouble to find the word charisma linked to Idi and Hitler, why couldn't you have just posted what Golding said and defend it..

Is it bcoz your argument is not really about what golding said but more about voicing your concerns about the failures of the PNP's performance and the success of them keeping power.

. . .Princess, Hitler and Amin were charismatic in their early years but not in their later years so you're wrong .

. . .never mind my rubbish and take Senior's advice of listening/reading what the man said.

. . .am I missing something? You brought up Hitler right? You must have heard an excerpt of the speech or heard or seen or read it reported somewhere or you wouldn't have mentioned it here. So did Golding call the Prime Minister Hitler?

. . .no actually he was just a charmer not charismatic! Nobody in their right mind would consider using the word charismatic to describe him.

Yes Princess... Me say so.. Tell Senior Analyst as well cryuff.. Wake the forum and tell the people...

Me say in a dem early years Idi Amin and Hitler were considered charismatic. Considered as such by people who big dem up and then bruk dem down when their agenda's did not match anymore.

In fact we could call all leaders for that matter charismatic.. I mean we are only talking charm, influence and enthusiastic inspiration. in adda words dem have sweet mouth..

So are we really saying everyone with sweet mouth have charisma or are those post and paste stuff from princess and cryuff just supportive arguments to support Mr. Goldings wrong choice of speech.

Is there really a difference in being notorious or famous???? Either which way you are well known????

Golding is running for prime minister. I dont think his intent was to give Jamaica a lesson on Idi Amin or Hitler.

Making a link between people who are now considered evil rather than charismatic is a dirty move.

If Hitler or Idi Amin had a chance to make a speech in todays climate not even Bruce would be influenced by, inspired by or charmed by either of the two..

Mi say nuh matter how unuh try pretty it up..

What are Golding's Policies?

He wants to re-introduce free education.
He wants to give all MPs equal share, This is important for places outside of the innercities get their fare share. What is happening is the Dons get the money and nobody else.
He asks all MPs for a 5 year developement plan of their constituency and hold them to it.
He want to work towards universal Healthcare.
He wants to grow the economy by up to 10%, the judgement is out but let us see. We may say it is not possible but look at Ireland Brazil, Argentina, Dominican Republic, Brazil, Cuba. All of these countries were down and out and with New leadership they have achieved it.

Sometimes we get beaten down and we think it impossible because of the past but those countries and others have proved it can happen. Right now it seems Haiti have a serious leader who want to fight corruption and grow the economy so it would surprise me if them post a decent growth figure this year.

We need to get rid of Omar Davis, Paulwell, Nicholson and some more a dem so the PNP need fi go rebuild and come again.

This is another point I made cruyff.. Politics nowadays is all about getting the centre ground. To get the centre ground personality reigns. Not policies as both or all parties are virtually the same.

So Assassin, we see what Bruce wants to do but we cant see how he is going to achieve this.. Maybe cryuff can say. Him love type yu see..

What is meant by MP's getting their share ??

How is it that the MP's should have a 5 year plan?? What is the parties 5 year plan?? And if there are 60 different MP's is Jamaica to be split into 60 different parts?? ( Or is it improper to imply cryuff ?? )

How does Golding plan to obtain a 10% growth in the economy??

I do agree that Portia need to restructure and get rid of some of the clowns..

whats the name of the dude that sold the Air Jamaica route??

. . .because it shows the level of thinking of the so called smarter electorate. You spend a lot of words criticizing someone for a comment the details of which you apparently never heard or read anywhere if we're to go by your reluctance to say what the comment was that you're criticizing in the first place. Then you say how much smarter the elctorate is nowadays because they don't waste time thinking about performance or policies or issues but rather focus on personalities. That doesn't strike me as a particularly intelligent approach from an electorate but I could be wrong. I think you may have answered your own question as to why there's even a contest if the government's performance has been so bad-because if there are enough people that adhere to your line of reasoning then poor performance over 18 years is less important than Golding being mean for having the audacity to call the Primer Minister Hitler.

First of all I did not put myself up as or said I was the smarter electorate. But I suppose its ok for you to make links and not anyone else.

Me critisizing Golding has nothing to do with the smarter electorate.

The smarter electorate comments was in reference to your remarks that seemed to attack me bcoz I din't think performance was going to be a factor regardless of all the issues yu have up the PNP for. I said its personalities and not issues or policies. I did not say the electorate is smarter becoz they see personalities..

Maybe yu fi stop chop and paste..

I said the electorate is smarter bcoz they are not up and down killing each other and actually do realise that neither party is better as neither has policies or a plan.

You seem to have up the PNP and so went off on a tangent about horse dead and cow fat. Like anyone really cares. If anyone did then they would not vote either. Thats why there is a competition for leadership. No one would vote PNP if they really cared about policies or performance. No one would vote PNP if they thought voting them out would make a proper difference.

Leave the cut and paste to the experts.. You are confusing yourself.

Regardless of how i choose to interpret Goldings words or what context you want to keep his words in, one could infer that even he has realised that the contest is about who Jamaica wants to take them/lead them for the next term. Thats why he implied that charisma nuh mek it..

I mean why are you having difficulties understanding. For about 15 years now you guys in Miami havn't really had a vote just like the Jamaicans.. It nuh matter who unuh vote for.. The other party always stays in power.. An yu still can play ball wid the likkle yute dem.. Jus chill.
