Has anyone played either Winning Eleven or FIFA 07. I am curious to find out which video game you would recommend for an online tournament and why.

i think winning eleven 10 aka pro evolution soccer 2007 is better

it is more challenging

the players have more 'moves' (better gameplay)

just a better overall game

plus the players actaully look real (better graphics)

another thing is that FIFA appears to have more licenses for clubs and national teams

FIFA has a lot of National teams and club teams with the real and updated name of players and squads

Winning Eleven doesn't have as many 'real' teams

they have teams like Ivory coast and cameroon, but the players' names are altered; that's the same for some club teams also

so if Shatta want play as Ivory Coast on Winning Eleven, the teams exists, but there's no Drogba or Kalou or Toure $\:D$

if you willing to overlook that, then the game play and graphics of winning eleven makes it a better game

I have both and i play with my Brazilian bredren all the while.
WE10 provides a truer football experience than FIFA07, i have gotten past the "no real teams" thing because of that.

pro evo 6 is the wickedest thing on ps2, they may not have the licences but they do have the players and teams , just named diferently, they also have classic teams that u can unlock players like maredona (he has a different name on it as well).. however I think fifa 07's game is good on psp, thats gonna save me for boredom at work on good friday.. bway big big easter an di ppl dem seh dem na shut di office..

Pro Evo by a mile.

In terms of game play Fifa does not come close. Fifa does, as was stated before, have all the player licenses and the graphics I would say is slightly better, but if you are a football purists then Pro evo aka winning 11 due to the game play. Much more in depth in terms of tactics and when you do make a tactical change you feel the difference when you are playing. Fifa seems more like arcade game than a football sim.

I like how the players can now make runs without the ball while pointing to where they would like the ball to be placed. Do you have to be on the same system to play each other?
