Moby dick, I feel inclined to respond to you. It is good to be "objectively realistic", however it is a relative term. I am realistic in the fact that if I were to step in front of a Mack truck I could not stop it with my hands and body. I am also realistic that I can never be president of the United States. I am also realistic that with a certain level of mental preparation and the correct attitude jamaica can beat Mexico in Azteca staduim. I suspect that you must have misinterpreted my "mental slavery" comment which was directed towards people who choose to settle for less than is attainable and find excuses to justify that end. If you therefore find youself in that group and the "cap fits", then you should wear it. I will never stop trying to be the best in life and I will never settle for second best and I hold the team to those same standards. If you choose to rationalize mediocrity, and if losing is acceptable to you, then what can i say, it is simply what floats you boat. Moby Dick I hope that I have conducted myself with the civility and the proper decorum in addressing you points of contention. I regret that you choose to highlight my use of a curse word and I apologize for using a profanity. Up until this point I had resisted using such words and to all the ites, I hope not to repeat it.
Peace

Jah B..greetings. I concur about the objectivity of most terms and will in no way rationalize mediocrity...not now, not ever. Like you I agree that with mental preparation, the correct strategy, the correct personell and the correct attitude Jamaica can beat any team, anywhere, anytime. I am willing to bet that Al Miller, the coaching panel and other members of the delegation was preaching this philosophy. So as you see we share a common thought with no door or window of disagreement. I certainly agree that if the TD saw Mexico as being unbeatable then he would be embedded in "mental slavery", however his comments, made after the match, that Rusty referred to does not support this. The events of the match does not support this either and all my discussion is simply aimed at offering another view point to his meaning. To take the man's word at face value is a little bit riduculous, especially when we have evidence to the contrary. Again Jah B..like you I will never settle for less, am not one to rationalize mediocrity and hates to lose. I guess the difference here is that I can accept being beaten without flinging blame left right and center. Sometimes Jah B..we just lose

Moby Dick, respect. I see that we are in agrement on most points except the flinging of blame part. Would you therefore recomend that we not point out areas for improvement? I understand that the greatest team will lose at some point, however, if my team really fights, put out an effort, but come up short, then that loss would be more palatable. I actually like to be criticized when I have done something wrong. The way in which I accept that criticism will invariably assist me in my quest to learn as much as I can and to improve as a person. In this case Moby dick, the critism of the TD and the team is justified. Peace and still 100% behind the Boyz. I hope to see you possibly in Foxboro Staduim at the USA game.

I think the TD should get his priorities straight and decide whether he is employed by JFF as a TD/coach or by Mexico as a publicist. We need to start preparing the boyz adequately, without adequate preparation the best athlete perform below average ones. I will refer to a comment made by Micheal Holding regarding Bryan Lara, he said " Bryan plays 40 test matches in one innings because he get out 40 times playing the same shot at the same delivery". The TD and coaching staff need to recognize their responsibilties and step up to the plate. We cannot afford to continue been plagued by the LARA SYNDROME.

Ites, First the TD should not say publicly than he thinks Mexico is clear and gone. Secondly, I do not think Brazil has beaten Mexico in Azteca, so a Brazilian coach has no advantage of knowing how to win in Mexico. Finally, Clovis needs realize that he is directing Jamaicans, so if any team can win in Mexico, it is the Reggaeboyz. But he will learn. Respect.
I will be there in Foxboro....we can revist. One love my brother
