Truetrini, today is a good day. I've just finished a presaentation in front of the whole crew, and i feel good about it.

Let's continue talking..

You're rallying for a caribbean football academy and i say, to hell with that, Jamaica should stand on it's own. Then again, put it this way, i can't see Jamaica now depending on a caribbean football academy to make it in football. C'mon keyboard coaches, whatever happened to the pep talk about Jamaicans are the greatest, Walta boyd is the wickedest, Sandi lowe is the roughest! Reggaeboyz rulz!! Rae rae rae...schit..

Peoples is so false on the other hand. But, since i can be vindictive for life, i won't forget when ites categorise the carib teams as "bush" "minnows" "rae rae", which will be a good laugh for me when i see them now lobbying for a carib football academy. What a ting, the prodigal team returns to the copa, make way, make way.

BTW, Herb luva, don't think we don't have competitions in the caribbean, it's just that Jamaica are the only people who totally disregard it...don't let them mislead you.

Baddas, between you and ninjaman which is better, you're a born junkie!

Jt, i definetly would never support a west indies football team, and that's all i have to say to you, furthermore, if you trying to give me an example on globalization, or Marley, tell me something i don't know, please.

Can't go with you on this one Trini, i feel more like Zouse does. We can cooperate in other way but each of the two countries should go it on their own. While I would love to see both teams qualify for the WC, it is the rivalry that we have that might spur us to achieve the goal of qualifying.

Peace

You've missed the point, I'm sorry to say. We've broadly agreed that the international teams should remain separate, but that there should be cooperation between the weekly leagues and/or a regional cup competition. The revenue earned should then be used to fund a Carribean academy, wherein the best of the Carribean youth learn the right way to succeed on the global soccer scene. Keep your national identity mi fren (it means a lot), but cooperate with your neighbours for a joint goal - to improve at soccer.

Not exactly controversial. Just common sense.

Always luv from

HL

Call me a nationalist but i also agree with Zouse and Jah B on this one, i dont believe that jamaican football should be diluted or watered down with anyone else's and particularly TNT to be precise.

Let TNT and all the other Caribbean countries go and start their own academies and we will take care of our own.

Cricket is not exactly my sport but i feel as though Jamaica should drop the damn W.I. and go it on their own.

Again call me a nationalist but i think that we should be the Fountain head in terms of sports for the Caribbean and what we can do after building our programme is to export it to other countries for a fee of course!!!

I truly believe that had we qualified for this world cup a lot of smaller countries would be beating down our doors for coaches and would also send a lot of their players to football clinics in Jamaica.

That is what i would like to see the hell with TNT and Jack Warner and Globalization..

Jamaica Land We Love. Not, 'Caribbean Islands We Love'.
To hell with Jack Warner and Caribbean Football.
Jamaica can do succeed and fail on its own. If Jack Warner was serious he would have taken his proposals to the proper authorities in each island and present it before his public display. Fricking crab!!

I never, ever said that we should have a joint football team! Whappen all yuh cyar read or what? I said lets have a regional football academy!

Like UWI, we send players and coaches to train there, then they take the skills home and teach others.

Trinidad doh need to have no jakans on their team and vice versa.

I am TALKING ABOUT A REGIONAL TRAINING FACILITY. LIKE CARICOM.

cho.

joint training facility...not a join team.

collaboration...not combined team.

NO JOINT FOOTBALL TEAM (AT ALL!!!!!!!!)

AN ISLAND-WIDE COMPETITION (EITHER LEAGUE OR CUP FORMAT)

AN ISLAND-WIDE YOUTH SOCCER ACADEMY (USING EACH GOVERNMENTS SUBSIDIES AND REVENUE FROM ISLAND-WIDE COMPETITION)

Got it?

Much luv.

One day black people will learn of the power that comes with unity. But for now, as constantly demonstrated, divided we shall stand and divided we will fall!!!

It's good to see you and co, and Jack Warner has finally learnt your lesson, AFTER YOUR FAILURES.

I'm sure that if T&T had done good and qualifed, then to hell with a caribbean academy, as far as Warner is concerned.

Unity indeed, how convenient now.

I remember a certain Bustamante making a stance like this zouse and history has proven him as just a short sighted dunce leading short sighted dunce people astray.

Breaking up the idea of federation talking bout Jamaica should stand on it's own but guess what my dreamie friends ? Jamaican's have been talking about being the best for years and I haven't seen the evidence yet.

We have a terrible economy with terrible leaders.

We have a country of individualists who only look out for themselves.

We do good at individual sports but not team sports.

Personally I don't believe in this nationalist stuff. I just want to see Pepe and Dwarika and Yorke and Nandi drop some ball ina di world cup

If it wuz up to me all caribbean people would belong to one federated country like Norman Manley and the rest of the Caribbean leaders wanted.

Europe is trying to do it and they have much better economies. They have to face the same mash down mentality that the caribbean face but they are moving forward because the deem it necessary to compete with the other economic blocks.

Where is the market for a pro-league in Jamaica ?

Man can't even buy food much more pay fi guh match a yaad .

It may be viable but barely so ..

Trini .. Hear mi nuh

Unuh gi wi some oil and wi and unuh n the other countries gi guyana some money fi build them hydro-electric plants and wi mek some aluminium etc etc and wi live happily ever after

Wi unuh n bahamas bussup olympics with some help from the other caribbean countries.

Wi draft in cuba fi defend trinidad n guyana from bully venzuela and tek weh puerto rico n virgin islands from the US.

CARICOM NOW !

gwaan madhu...

well big up the ites on my level.. and big up the ites on another level.

Like Zouse, I too think what would Jack Warner of done if TnT made it. But then I also think what would we do if we made it.

I always remember my dad with this saying..

BLACK PEOPLE WILL NEVER KNOW THEMSELVES UNTIL THEM BACKS DEH GAINST DE WALL.

We all know now that no team in the caribbean is good enough. The all need to go back to school/university. Just that we will call this university an academy... Whats so hard to understand about that. This is not about Jack or Burrell. This is about us. When will we realise that we are the programme. They are just elected to oversee the runnings. Why do we always make MD's,presidents,PM's,Chairmen GODS.

A joint UWI has not destroyed the individuality of the West Indians, just as Kingston College or any other school never destroyed the individuality of people living in Kingston.Come on.

And I cant remember who said it but if Jamaica made it to the WC,other Caribbean teams would get a brazilian coach, not Jamaicans.

We can ignore Globalization all we like but it is here and happening.

Whats up Zouse,Binza and also JahB...a U shock mi boss... I have to admit that presently U guys sound like the JFF defenders. No real reasons for defending...it just go so...
