Shaggy. This is from me to you. My hair is very kinky. It is not even near curly. I love my hair. I personally don't really like the idea of straightening hair.

Well...this is the cost of my unmanageable compulsion to call what I see. But since I DID choose to speak ....
I spoke no untruths and relayed no misinformation. I simply stated what I saw. (Though there is room for argument as to whether I should have said anything at all).
It can't be denied that in most posts involving race to any extent there is great mention and apparent pride regarding Swedishness and blond hair and blue eyes. There is absolutely nothing wrong with a man being proud of his wife.
But when the person turns around in the middle of an argument where he has been describing his wife's features and then makes a statement such as yours (about "kink" and "no pun intended"), I can think of no other point of reference for the "pun" than how I've heard some people describe the texture of the hair of a black person.
For me it was worthy of mention because the statement came from a black man and it appeared to betray a truth given previous claims to defending against against images and views promoted by the eurocentric hegemony. (Those vocally expressed by another member of this forum in particular).
I know the connection is clear to you because I think you indicated as much in your last post.
I have no right to speculate, judge or to jump to conclusions. But I know you said it was inadvertent and there's no reason for me to doubt that.

You see, you are obviously wrong. I simply am showing Trini that him having a Jamaican wife doesn't make him any more "certified" than me.
Also the only time I pointed out anything with regards to my wife was when I referred to what constitutes a black child and what constitutes a mixed one. I pointed out that she was right when she asked me why does her genes not count because I have always said my child will be BLACK; even though in actuality it will be half so but for the classifications of the world once not fully white it can't be white it is the other race.
May I also point out that in my posts in the "JAMAICAN WOMEN ARE UGLY" post I clearly stated that I was disappointed in most black women aspiring to look like white women and vice versa because each race is beautiful in their own way and that I wonder why some black women choose to wear blue and green contacts because I personally think brown eyes are the nicest.

I just met a girl in a club (where I also met the luscious Tyra Banks) who I thought was just going to be a "passing fancy" whom I ended liking - then really liking - then loving.
