Lomano Tresor Lua Lua is a 19 year old who started his career in England at Colchester 2 years ago after moving to England from his home country Zaire. He is emensely talented and has magic dribbling skills(which he attributes to African Dancing that he did in Zaire!) and despite making most of his appearences from the bench at Colchester he scored a healthy return of goals and his form has been such this season that Bobby Robson was persuaded to part with £2.25 million + for the youngster. He is by far the most promising and talented teenage striker in the Premiership, some would say better than Michael Owen.

"Ites" allow me to have my two cents worth on "Tappa". The first time I saw Whitmore play was in a premiere league semi-final game in which he scored two well taken goals, ever since I've regarded him as one of the best player our island has produce, this coming from a man who is of the opinion that Hector Wright is a football "god". Since then I've seen Tappa in numerous games and I honestly believe that it is not that he's inconsistent but more as a player who is willing to allow his teammates to flourish around him. He is not like most "stars" who demands the ball whether it be by words or actions but seems more content on allowing the game to come to him. I don"t know the man personally but he strikes me as a laid back type of person who doesn't crave the spotlight (unselfish on the playfield) which may not be a "good" trait for a star. There is no sarcasm in the word "star" when I talk about Theodore "Tappa Whitmore for he is a true Jamaican star and given the right stage and time an international "gem".

Hi guys, I must remind you all that England is master of racism and rasical covert pratices. There are always excellent black soccer players in England but english managers are unwilling to play them because of their colour. When I read about Johnson waiting for english manager to call him for the team.....I have to laugh. Has anyone tell him about english soccer history. Cole maybe call up for the English team but to paly is another thing. English manager needs the black big defender so he is played. All those great excellent black players are waiting for english call up, they should think again. It will never come. ONLY ONE ot TWO BLACK PLAYERS ON THE TEAM BUT ONLY ONE at any time will ever play. Example of covert bias look at Wheeler from Liverpool, he just come from injury, he has not score any goal, play ONLY one game, he is called up for world cup qualifing games against GERMANY. Guys you think about what I write....one love

Thanks for the info about Lau Lau...It's not that I didn't know but I wanted to make sure some of you are on my wavelength.....He is young, skillful and so will cost a lot of dollars and he is and has proven so....Mr. Whitmore's laid back style has admirers but no one willing to invest.....On an international level..when it comes more down to honour than money then racism creeps in...and as color red say..nuff a dem bwoys a waste them time waiting...Ehiog(spelling) I think can play for england..worth 8mil to some managers but he cant get a run...They prefer Southgate and Barry even though they have already proven that every game without Ehogue they lost....But Whitmore maybe experiencing a milder form of discrimination but this is easily overcome by performing..

JT how can you use one example to lay your case? How perform better at world cup Whitmore or Gardner?

This is Whitmore first season really. Whitmore is older than this youth and you know what the scouts say about age. Whitmore was injured last year. Look how many good caribbean ballers didn't get the chance Dwight Yorke got. Russell Latapy for example had to do it the long route in case you didn't know. Spent some of his prime years in Jamaica playing for Port Morand United and in Portugal when he could have made most Priemer side.

Well maybe I should put it another way assasin...He who chooses to ply his trade in a professional league must accept the ups and downs, etc etc..There are nuff millionaires out there, nuff people who have but some how dont deserve, nuff with gold spoon and I could go on & on and I believe I deserve more than them for the effort I put in but can I really blame someone else for me not achieving all I can....Some of the blame has to go towards me....or I could just sit and say I will jus give up and bawl seh mi a get a fight...Some of us can never achieve greater than what we have but Whitmore has not even started...Latapy started small but he attained more than Whitmore,so whats up with Whitmore...I can feel for a man who has really tried and get a fight(Andy Cole)but Whitmore?? Naw...Lua Lua,Latapy,Gardner,Fuller Kanu(who had a heart problem are a few examples of what can be achieved...I dont believe good players get overlooked at club-level if they are performing...

Do any of you know Whitmore personally..or his agent...I think he needs to try and get with Fulham....I cant think of any other manager who will allow him to be him and develop his game at the same time..Plus the French play football..not airball...
