I will be the first to concede that some of the exchanges on this thread are some ugly exchanges. I regredtedly concede also that I was actively involved in some of those ugly exchanges. For 'ites that were offended... yuh done know. I won't go into the dregs and details because the main issues on this thread are MikeU's views and because of a few (in retrospect unwise) words the focus got shifted. A MikeU fi get di FIRE BUN... at least the brunt of it.
Confilcts between peoples cannot be explained in terms of race otherwise that conflict would have always existed and will always exist (outside of genocide); so I don't part take in the racism thing (despite aguments, without foundation, to the contrary by some 'ites). I say this, decolonizing our minds in one of, if not the most, important thing that we as a people must do. Without decolonizing our minds we will always be in the position we are in and our beloved little country will continue forever in its inward spiral of self-destruction. That's why I find it necessary to scream as loud as I can when I hear certain colonized minds try to perpetuate certain ideas. Guys like MikeU fi get rehabilitated or exposed!
Blessed are the peacemakers but based on some of the "peacemakers" responses and outcries one would get the impression that the only thing we can discuss on this site is soccer. If that is the case then DA SITE YA SOFT. If we use this coming together of heads for just dicussing football it would be the biggest waste of resource that we could ever imagine.
