Here is my two cents.....cant deal with the Full Yellow Jackect..lol....Everybody make sure you throw in the CD Changa a copy of Jacob "Killa" Miller - Natty Christmas ...Nuff Respect & happy holidays to the forumites.
I like your designs danger_cow but I think the shorts should be solid. The stripe across the leg give the impression as if the players have a "wedgie",just like the KAPPA designs.The shorts should be all black or all green. -Peace

Wicked designs. I don't have a problem with the stripe on the pants (in fact it look sweet to me) I do think though that pants should be black because there isn't much black in the designs and it would effect a nice contrast between top and bottom.

Love de designs Danger. Hopefully we will be blessed to see some similar or {no disrespect} more eye catching design we as Jamaicans and Supporterz can be proud of.

I unlike everyone else like the third design better for the reason of what can come of it. It is more unique and more eye catching.So I will tell you my designer and see if you can fix it up mek mi see what it look like.
White background with black,gold and green stripes going across and around.White shorts with the same stripes continuing across the shorts..The stripes can be of a mixed design as kappa did on the yellow apparel or single stripes.U can pick the stripe sizes.I feel they should all where white boots like bibi with the Jamaican stripes.Maybe yellow boots..I wonder if Uhlsport are sponsoring the footwear as well.
With the designs U have posted,I would go along with black shorts.
When I visited my brethrens in New York I gave them a kappa designed jersey for Jamaica...It was for the supporters..Black with a big Jamaican flag across the front..I have only seen it in England..
Can you also make these designs Danger Cow.Maybe while the JFF struggle to create a new style for the boys on the field maybe we can create our own design as supporters.I wonder if uhlsport is reading all this..Maybe they should come to us...
Question...Black is supposed to keep in heat. Would this help in the US cold.A black jersey??
Isn't it funny how we are all cussing the yellow jersey but we all would jazz a Brazilian Jersey,that I cant remember has ever had a design change.Jus a thought.

I also like your designs, danger_cow, nice work. jt, if I got everything right, your design could also look good, but there would be trouble with a FIFA law that says that there must not be more than three colours in the jersey design of a national team that wants to take part in the WC Qualifyers ( federation logo not included in the colour limit ). I think that the simple Brazilian jersey looks so good because of the bright, eye catching lemon - yellow and the contrast to the blue. I think that simple jerseys can also look good - I personaly do also like the traditional Italian jersey - simply, but a beauty to me.

I know the Brazilian & Itialian Jersy are classics as is almost any type of candy stripe jersey. I notice many of the old designs and styles are coming back. Remember how the Italians looked in the Euro Championships. The tops were kinda tight and the shorts were very baggy. Wicked Retro-style. I hope Uhlsport can give use a wickied design, they had all the educated designers...lol...check out some more...Thanks for the comments mi Ites.

Just one major observation, the colours of the Reggae Boyz are Black, Green, & Gold. (not) yellow. Good ideas anyway , so why not start your own factory or Jersey design company..Best wishes for 2001..
Careful still Cow cause yuh might see dem same design on the new Ulisport jersey. Yuh design dem good and yuh need to guard dem till yuh can make them up for sale. If yuh do I man will buy some as I'm sure the other 'ites dem will do.

I have taken steps to make sure my design are protected. I am right in the process of finding checking out some details for producing some samples. If that is done all the fourmites get first dibs on purchasing one. Thanks for all the comment and critiques. I do the jersey design and graphic arts on the i am i computer programmer by trade. Forgive me Danger_cow but I must side with faby. I think simple but classic is best. I like your use of black in the third design. However, the designs are too busy.This is my personal taste. Faby pointed out the Brazilian and Italian shirts and how good they look. What he did not memtion but we all know is that they are immediately recognizable because of their simplicity and continuity. We need a design that will not change radically over time. Think national flag to get my full meaning. When something is consistent we can identify with it, feel proud of it and it links all national footballers together in a chain from the past to the future creating a sense of pride that cannot be easily said in words. When a design is busy it passes out of favour quickly and begs for a change. With constant changes you create a feeling that everything is new there is no history that comes with the jersy. The players before where "then", this is "now" and there is no connection. This is not what we want. Every Iitalian Brazilian, Irish, Argentinian, Dutch, French,and the list goes on and on, Know the history of their national teams and what it means to put on the national jersy. Danger_cow you have talent give it another try if you agree with me. We want a shirt that is reconizable, inspiring and beautiful that will stand the test of time and everyfootballer will know espire to wear.
