I am concerned about the USSF's efforts to prevent another Washington (Oct 97) to occur.

I would be interested in entertaining ideas about how we can organize ourselves to ensure that we will show as a force at Foxboro when the time comes.

As I see it, several things should happen through this forum:

1) Few man should step forward as leaders of our (the forumites') effort

2) Find out exactly when (date & time) these tickets will go on sale

3) Select the sections of the stadium we want to target

4) SPREAD THE WORD ABOUT THESE SECTIONS!!!So that man & man ready wid di cash, the morning of the first day of the sale

I for one can (will) volunteer to provide the exact layout/descriptions/map of the stadium.

Presently, we have time (I think), but this is the direction (laid out above) we ought to go.

Respect.

Ites....just to give u guys an idea of the costs for the trip to Boston. Departure and arrival would have to be decided on, however, leaving(London lets say) Saturday and returning Monday would costs $4200 for a 47 seater with all the amenities 6 tvs, washroom etc, and $4650 for a 55 seater. I certainly will bargin this price once we have something concrete plan..still no sound too bad to mi dough.....we have to pay for the drivers room for overnight stop in as an additional cost. thats it!!

Jesus Christ, BR!! Dat de fare de stop mi cold ina mi tracks. That's indeed heavy, when I consider how pissed off I was that one of my boys couldn't get a $49 ticket to Miami for Friday's game to join the rest of the crew. Hope you will be able to work through a better deal.

Anyway, I know it's way early now, but I live about 20 minutes from the stadium, and can provide you with a bunch of really, really cheap motels, all within walking distance of Foxboro. They are all along Route 1 (Washington Street), but, like clockwork, they fill up for evry major event.

I will make sure I provide some kind of "Name/Address/Phone/Price" listing well in advance.

Respect.

Welcome back General...
I think you misunderstand what BR is saying.
He is planning on chartering a bus (one of the official couches) to take us to Boston. The cost would $4200 for a 47 seater (this works out to be about $90.00 per person if we get all 47 people) I don't think that is very expensive. It is probably about $350 to $500 by air and about $180 by bus.

Bye the way BR...is this Canadian dollars or US dollars....?

Ok. I see. Large numbers make me a little giddy, and cause a temporary loss of reading skills. This is indeed a good idea. I certainly would be nice if you guys could pull it all together.

As promised, I will do my part providing what info I can about the accomodations when the time comes.

The move right now should be to spread the word amongst the Jamaican community about when the tickets go on sale.

One love.

a good place to solicit supporters is Jamaicans.com. A lot of those forumites are from the East coast and we shoule try to galvanize as many people we can to show up. Also can anyone enlighten me as to how effecive the reggaeboyz Supportz Club is. Ex. are they able to get block tickets. Are they as aggressive as SAMS-ARMY.COM?

Hail all 'ites. I'm interested in finding out which capacity the USSF is planning on using for the game. I guess we'll see based on the Trinidad game in June. For MLS games they cover/don't use half the stadium. During the World Cup they utilized all seating. Sounds to me like they probably plan to limit the stadium to the 24,000 capacity even if they can sell more tickets.

"GMC" They will use the maximum capacity because they would have lost money in the first game against Mexico (Columbus site is only 25,000) so look for 54,000 in Boston. Remember part of the qualification is making money & the USA/Mexico game if played in the Rose Bowl could easly gain (95,000)..but 90% of the fans would be Mexicans
