18 January 2001 (internetsoccer.com) -- Foxboro Stadium, home of the New England Revolution will be the site of two US national team World Cup qualifiers June 20 and October 7 versus Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica respectively. The US has never lost at Foxboro Stadium, posting a 5-0-3 record in national team matches held at the venue, located on the outskirts of Boston. Their last World Cup qualifier at Foxboro was a 7-0 thumping of tiny Barbados in the initial stages of World Cup qualification.
"Boston has been a great home for U.S. Soccer," said U.S. Men's National Team coach Bruce Arena. "We know that whenever we play at Foxboro we will always have a great crowd behind us, and the atmosphere will be even better for these important World Cup qualifiers."
The T&T match in June will be the first match in a doubleheader, with the New England Revolution taking on Colorado Rapids in the second game. The site of the only remaining home game in September versus Honduras has yet to be announced.
Dat de match caan miss me star! Me ha fi get mi ticket early. Hopefully by then JA will already qualify and we can just go have some fun. Nuff yardman suppose to inna dis. peace.

Damn i thought the USSF was smarter than that. Weren't they the same one that said the didn't want to be underdogs on their home ground. They took it out of NY, and Fl. LA has too many latin americans so that's out. So I figured they would keep all there Qualifiers in Oklahoma, Nebreska, Iowa, basically in the Heartland where it's pure and White{sorry i meant Wheat}
USSF underestimates us as Football fans. in Oct 97' when the played Jamaica in Washington DC, it was 85% jamaicans, but they still managed to cheat us. I have to say thank you to the USSF, i thought i was gonna have to watch the Qualifier from some bar somewhere, but no not this time. I will be at Foxboro.
For those who dont know Foxboro, is outside boston(which has a sizeable west indian community). A community so large that they have their own Carnival. But it's also only a few hours away from New York( largest Jamaica population outside JA,) Hartford(3rd largest pop) New jersey, DC, and Baltimore.
You can drive ride or catch a commuter flight for less than $100 dollars.
So again I say
THANK YOU USSF FOR MAKING MY WISHES COME THROUGH!!!!
Where are all the Boston massive.....General you will have to get the tickets for the forum massive.I know that the U.S.S.F will put the tickets on sale discretly so that their supporters will get the advantage. As soon as the tickets go on sale let us know. There is only one problem that may arise, and that is temperature. If the game is played in the night the temperature normally drops, and this could be a disadvantage especially for the local players.Anyways,I have been waiting for almost 7 years to watch Jamaica beat the U.S. in their backyard,as payback for the time they beat us 3-0 back in 1994.We have played them a number of times after and I think now will be the perfect time to dish it out to them.
I visit this site on a daily basis for the past 4 months but only made one post till now...got wole eep a joke and info alike...GOOD SITE..mi is a man wa like real action so man a man will resign fi start mek frequent posts as of now...I dont know what kinda plans the Canadian massive a go come wid fi d Boston game...but mi a go a disya match and cwaan also get whole eep a man/woman fi follow suite....mi originally base in Toronto but now live in Chatham a small community .5 way between London aan Windsor... mi already start setup fi a charter from dung dis side..so mi waan know wah de massive a sey... Hail up DoubleB....
Remember, you have to get tickets in order to enter.
The New England Revolution which plays in Foxboro is one of the best supported teams in the MLS. I'm certain that their fans, who have first right to the WCQ tickets, will snap them up. This is a new tactic that the USSF is using already in Columbus for the Mexican game next month with the Columbus Crew.
I suspect that Foxboro will be 2/3 American and the rest Jamaican/Caribbean, unlike the near 50-50 crowd in Washington D.C. in 1997.

Big up BR. That's an execellent idea!!! Being the person that you are, I know that you would be thinking about something like this. It is only a 7-8 hours drive from Toronto so we ara expecting all the Canadian Massive (from South West Ontario) to join in.
We are also going to need some Reggaeboyz shirts,hats,flags,pants,briefs,etc....
I am located in Chatham. 45mins south west of Sarnia. The charter will not be a problem...I've already spoken to a yardie who drives for 'Chatham Couches' for over 20yrs, his company would be more than delighted to have him drive us down. Firstly we have to organise dis ting properly.
1. I responded to the call for RBSC membership(on d odda site) last night by emailing 'archie@reggaeboyzs.com', my mail was undelivered twice....now according to Portia, the RBSC can arrange block tickets....this is the way to go.....hence the email to Archie. So den Archie, wat is realy u email address? - by de way I think it's really good idea to join.
2.Once tings get going....I can mek a post for all interested to add names to a list....
3. we will have a pickup point in London as discussed with driver.
4.For now let me link with Archie and try to get things going...anyone has his correct address?
First time posting on the forum, however i visit twice daily for the past year.Hearing you all talking with such enthusiasm about this match, i have already applied for a week vacation in order to be there. See YOU ALL !!!!!!!!!! ONE LOVE .
Boston massive yuh have yuh work cut out fi yuh. We need a plan fi come up wid some tickets. read the following:
COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Tickets for the United States' World Cup qualifying match against Mexico on Feb. 28 sold out Friday.
Nearly 19,000 tickets were sold in advance and the 5,000 remaining tickets were bought in six hours.
U.S. Soccer tried to keep tickets out of the hands of Mexico's fans by offering them first to college, high school and youth teams as well as the Crew's Major League Soccer season ticket-holders.
The game will be the second consecutive home World Cup qualifying match to be held in Columbus. The U.S. men's team played to a scoreless tie against Costa Rica before a crowd 24,430 on Oct. 11. The Americans then won 4-0 at Barbados on Nov. 15 to win their semifinal group.
The six-nation regional finals will produce three qualifiers for the 2002 tournament in Japan and South Korea. Other nations in the finals are Jamaica, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago and Costa Rica.
Siya (naah watch nuh face or war wid no fassi YET RBZ &RBSC massive check out this link for good ticket info Fri Jan 19 14:00:27 2001
on games involving USA if needs be. US Soccer will try to screw us out of tickets but this website http://WWW.SAMS-ARMY.COM should be up on every thing the US soccer federation is trying and as the USA's largest supporterz group they will be given certain opportunities to get tickets. A nuh our fault if they in turn broadcast it on the net for the whole world to see. They give out numbers and names of contacts etc.
Honestly....I cant see what the fuss is though....Jack Warner,Burrell,Reid...Fifa,Concacaf.... I am sure tickets should be fairly available and distributed for all fans.I am sure as usual we will wait until after the event to complain.
