I do not think Fuller is currently fit enough to play for more than a half since he has been out of action so long, but correct me if I am wrong. Now looking ahead, what type of defenders and midfield does Costa Rica have?

Funny that dribbling ability don't put the ball in the back of the net.
Jamaica need goal scorers, as long as the man them can't put the ball in the back of the net, there is a problem. Lowe, Harris, Fuller, Burton, or Hayles none has shown the form lately to put the ball in the back of the net when it counted.
But it is not about solo runs, but team work to get to a goal.
Face it we have no midfield. Thats the problem. Everytime lowe or harris got the ball it came from either a long pass form a defender or a winger. Whitmore...williams not stringing any passes upfront and hardly running back to help defend....especially wiliiams. If the midfield is not dropping the balls on the forwards foot then we have a big problem.Long balls from defence and crosses from the wingers are the only balss reaching the forwards and these plays put the forwards in weird and acute angles. If someone can tell me one time in the match when a midfielder dribbled directly up the middle with he ball......then i will reconsider this post.
Jamaica's performance in the June 16th game confirmed again that Jamaica really lacks an attacking philosophy that makes sense. From what I see, two forwards are placed up front and are left to find their own way to goal. There's no hint on the part of the forwards of an ability to play off of each other. Come to think of it, I do not recall seeing either forward passing the ball to each other for the whole time they were on the field in that June 16th game.
If I'm wrong about our attacking philosophy, I humbly apologize to the coach. If I'm not, I request that coach de Oliveira put in an attack(er) that/who can score some goals and produce some wins now.
from a piece of editorial...a man who professes to know nothing much about coaching.

They make the world so hard
Absolutely correct, the forwards never played off each other once and the balls that Nandi got were garbage. The midfield was none existant, as a matter of the wingers and defenders played more like midfielders. I'm tired of the "ites blaming Nandi for not scoring as if he's sqandering good chances.

Doomed fi real if we dont change our tatics. The team play good in all departments and could have scored on a few occassion but i question the coach's game plan. Why we leave the US to dominate the midfield for the entire match? Why we dont tackle until the ball almost reach our 18 yard line? As for the two forwards, they were isolated up front all day except for some 50/50 long balls and crossses that never reach them. where is the link up with the midfield? again the forwards playing too far apart. i did not see one exchnage of passes between them. Lowe fi siddun and give Fuller the full run. Coach have fi change him game plan or we doomed. 1LOVE
