Aberdeen get beat by Argentinian world cup stars return to big time football...On his debut Caniggia (big friend of Maradona)scored in the 90th min to give Dundee a 2 nil win on his British debut but all this was overshadowed as the Dundee United chairman had grabbed the headlines after punching Johnny Barnes in his mouth.....Barnes who was on reporting duty for the BBC has sinced received an apology from the Scottish MD and chairman who had to resign because of his actions...he was being interviwed about Dundee's 4-nil trashing by Hearts....After receiving medical attention from the Dundee Utd. medics but did not press charges but the scottish FA are still on the case....Jim Mclean's statement is as quote "I very much regret what has happened and I have offered my sincere apologies to John Barnes....I am particularly sorry that it was John of all people who was involved-he is an honest,hardworking lad who was only trying to do his job,as I was trying to do mine. Anyone who knows me,however,will know the passion I have for Dundee United and for football and I deeply regret that I allowed those feelings to cloud my judgement albeit for one brief moment"

hi forum-ites, Let love rules, Jt has his own experience with racism so let him speak. I never encountered any racism while i lived in England and that does not mean that racism does not exist in england, scotland or wales. If whitmore wnats to play in scotland so be it ...I wish him well. I live in USA, every day I experience racism of some kind. but still I live there. one love
