Whitmore interest suggested ^top It is being claimed that Aberdeen are taking an interest in Hull's Jamaican international midfielder Theodore Whitmore. The suggestion would seem to be a surprise one as it had been thought that the Scottish Premier League side did not necessarily have strong funds available.
Whitmore has been an eyecatching and impressive performer since arriving at Boothferry Park last year and there has been no shortage of potential suitors. English Premiership club Coventry were thought to have been tracking him some months ago and there had been suggestions that a seven-figure bid might have been forthcoming. Nothing of that sort materialised and front-line interest in Whitmore had seemed to have sloped off, despite the player continuing to improve and show top form. It has always been understood that Hull hope to get a good fee for Whitmore, should full-on interest become apparent, but it would be a surprise if his destination was Aberdeen.
Aberdeen are a Scottish Premier league side who are currently rebuilding their side after nearly being relegated. They where good at one point but couldn't break the Celtic/ Rangers hold on the Scottish championship. They would probably be most compared to a English 1st Division side.
I hope Whitmore is not even wasting time considering it...For one it too cold up there...Them scottish more racist and if he is bored at Hull then he can expect to be over excitingly bored and with the two top teams thinking about leaving for a European league,the scottish league could be doomed..nuh waste yu time Tappa...

Jt, there you go again. You need to learn facts my friend. I lived in England and Scotland before. Let me tell you. The Scots have the black man's back more than the English do. The Scots were slaves to the English, much like us. Every society has racism but the Scots have much less than England. Believe me. I have been in both places long enough to know this.
Look Delano,mi nuh only live ya,mi born ina England...Scottish were never Slaves of the English but merely a conquered nation jus like the Irish...Or like the Romans did to nearly all this side of Europe...They were never bought or sold as africans were...I have seen heard and know of loads of black people who live in WAles,Scotland and parts of Ireland that have endured enough hatred to recognise who is racist,and me myself have encountered such behaviour,so the likkle time you have spent here still cannot deter my feelings from the truth..WHO FEELS IT KNOWS IT...Nowadays may may see one one black man representing the scots(even though I cant think of none)the germans,the Italians,The Belgians etc but on a whole these countries all exhibit far right tendencies and are openly exhibiting the fact...Dont be fooled by the few decent white people who want little ethnicity mix up with there boring cultures bcoz on a whole nuff a we can only mix wid dem if we can do sports exceptional or dem need manual workers fi clean dem office blocks or they can seem to find white people to do certain things..(Like in the sixties when they mek we run come fi work on the buses and in the hospitals but we couldn't get lodgings or like now when all the yute dem want drug it out so the call all the asians who have better IT skills or nurses from the phillipines bcoz only dem will accept the little pay on offer)

I spent some time in England myself, but not nearly enough to comment as intelligibly as JT. Back your comments to the max JT.
I might add as General rule...just because you don't see a people exhibit racism that don't mean that them not racist. I can't speak about Scotland because I've never been there, but you will almost always find that where a population of immigrants is miniscule to non-existent, this near non-existent population is a pleasant curiosity and difference to add likkle flavor to the population. Once the size of the immigrant population grows, however, the racism comes out.
Personally, I don't give a ____ about how the original population feels for one (maybe more) reason(s).
These countries are all victims of their own imperialist mentality. They invaded and took over these other countries...got rich off them by raping the countries resources and people...gave these countries subordinate "commonwealth [or whatever terminology is used by the other european countries] status" so that the imperialist country's power and prestige remains to be seen while at the same time...the commonwealth country remains as a concubine to be used and abused at will until no longer convenient...at which point it is granted independence. Hurrah!!!!
Of course, granting the right to natives of the subordinate country to freely emigrate while the country is a commonwealth guarantees the imperialist country a supply of cheap labor, because they certainly don't plan on giving them any REAL jobs.
In Germany, a little different, Turkish people were actually encouraged to come to help rebuild the country after the wars.
Now, these immigrants in all the countries of Europe, now that they have served their use they are no longer wanted. They are still discriminated against and kept from any real jobs, so poverty pervades and persists. What do broke people who want to eat do...they steal...look at early 1920's italians in New York...look at russians now...(at least they're white though--fix up that accent and everything's o.k.) It's not a black thing. Then the original population points at them and says "look at these awful lawless immigrants." You are a lower class of people ...look at how you act. Conveniently forgetting their key role in this theatrical piece.
While I could sympathize with the argument of the original peoples, I can't do it given the circumstances under which these conditions arose. It is they who created the problems out of their own cold single-mindedness, selfishness and greed.
Deal with it.
This is not to advocate the positions of those immigrants who are actually worthles and good for nothing and who give the real workers a bad name. You find those people in every population, both indigenous and immigrant.

JT, from all that I can see you seem to be inept. Where were you educated? Just because you born and raise somewhere don't make you an expert on that place. You don't know what the hell I have been through on my travels. I have been to France, Sweden(where my wife is from), Denmark, Germany, Australia, Scotland, USA, Venezuela, Trinidad, Ghana, Japan, England(lived there for a while) and I am now in Canada. Hence I say yu cyan tell mi what I know from what I don't. I am what you call a well travelled person.
I have been the victim of the nastiest type of racism in USA and England. I have nearly been run over by a motor car on three separate occasions with the n-word being shouted at me in the process. This was within the first three weeks of being in London. I spent longer in Scotland and nothing happened. What experiences are you drawing upon. HERE-FRIGGING-SAY????????

yes Delano, respect to the man. I undertand what the man syaing but I still don't necessarily agree with everything. I have also been to many of the countries you mentioned and have been exposed to racism in varying degrees in each.
However in most of those places, with the exception of holland, germany, and france, I spent no more than a week. Generally I did not really encounter what I recognized to be racism until I spent extended periods of time in Holland, France and Germany. Then, when you are not flying around the city or the country to see all the sights, you don't fly by the racism as much. In fact, very often it finds you... heh heh.
To that end, I think JT was suggesting, rightly, that by living there he has had ample opportunity to see it -- at least in England.
There's no guarantee that you will get the full brunt everyday. I know I didn't when I was there. For the most part the people I met were very cool. Maybe you were lucky in Scotland.
With that I must mention that I do not pass upon the slave aspect of the discussion, because I don't know anything about it (though I'm inclined to think "slave" IS a little too harsh.)

no disrespect to you or your wife. Again I don't entirely disagree with JT on the "spicing up" issue. The commentary is not necessarily reflective of every individual, but maybe more of an overall social perception. The same thing that makes a foreigner interesting with respect to "spicing up" a culture, is the same thing that make people travel overseas to see the foreigner in his or her homeland.
No disrespect meant by it. As I have said before, my girlfriend is german, but it doesn't change the truth, and she and I both recognize it.

That is what keeping the Black Americans down because before they try they defeat themselves. When they get turn down at Job interview they say because white man racist and give up. NO! keep trying. You must succeed somehow. I face it here in Canada and if I were to take JTs look on things I would be a failure and be nowhere.
