Gentlemen, something has been brought to my attention as recently as this morning by one of our fellow 'ite that needs urgent attention. First, before I proceed any further let me say the subject of which I am about to speak, I myself has been guilty of in the past, let me make this clear. I know just how defensive we can get as a people when our short commings and our follies are pointed out to us, so I just want to clear the air before I elaborate.
Gentlemen straight up...we need to stop the usage of certain languages and terminologies that we are using on this forum, it's affecting the younger audience more than we think. It was brought to my attention like I have said by one of my fellow 'ite. It has been said that some of the younger members are even intimidated by our words and terminology used here from time to time and they find it very offensive. Sometimes for instance they may be sitting in a library and decide to go on the forum and participate in our discussions but when they log on, is pure "bad wod" them see and this is not conducive to the surroundings or certain circles they may be in at the time.
I have seen where the moderator(s) has been trying to censor certain words but for some reason some of us find it necessary to get around this by spelling the word abbreviated or spacing their letters so that the software cannot pick up the variations. This is clear to me that we fully understand what is going on but we are just intent on been outrageous.
I remember a long, long time ago when I first came to this site, I made mention of this very same thing. I said at the time that we should tone down our language and terminologies and some man almost beat mi to death, a lucky thing seh my back broad and can take a whole lot a beating.
Gentlemen...to be on this forum is a privelege and a great one I must add; but not a right. I enjoy being on this forum, however; I know for a fact that many others enjoy been here more than I do. I reason with some man here from time to time and God knows, it's more than a pleasure to do so. By the reasoning of some man and the intellect they portray, it's like as if I have met them in person. They keep me comming back inspite of the differences we may have at times.
Man like: Jt, Russian,Ddread,Rudi,Jagga,Truetrini,Myyout,Lepimi, Jah B and many others that I may have failed to mention. Gentlemen, it has been like a family so let us keep it that way. I can just see man now with them lips drooling and them fingers shaking with anxiety, ready to touch the key boards and start firing some pershing cruiser missiles at me, with mark for death written all over it, but let it be known, I have already withdrawn to my bunker so all of that will have no effect on me.
Let us keep it real gentlemen. Like I have said on many occasions, if this forum is used wisely it could be of many uses to all of us. Take for instances the other day JT, mom's business was on fire and a man was able to track him and inform him of the tragedy instantly just because of this medium. Let us continue to support our own seen. The reason why I say this is because this forum/website is the property of one of our own, who I happen to know personally and a great person indeed I may add. A word is good enough to the wise. From now forward, let us try to be civil one to another keeping this site void of foul languages starting with the man in the mirror. Okay gentlemen !!! again, keep it real, IRIE !...IRIE man. Yes Dart, No need to retreat to your bunker. The man 100 percent correct. There is really no need for the cussing. Sure it hard to express anger but we all must be responsibe in what we say. The forum is for all to use and I cant understand why some man will make that extra effort to mess things up. Frankly when I am reading a post and there is a lot of curse words, I just move on to a different post. Big up all the ites who keep it entertaining and clean
I have to admit that the thought of youths using this forum never entered my mind. I honestly thought it was from 17 years up, bomber and andy being the young ones, but more to the point I thought all were hardcore football fans and players.

I for one honestly think the bad words and indecent language is not acceptable.But I also know that the intellectual challenges can be quite frightening also as everyone flex their brain power.Typical Jamaican stuff.Both The Proud and The Arrogant Jamaican will stand up where others may shy away.Others jus jam.
Maybe if we on the forum can step back,think about our stance,allow others to type their opinions without fear,try and make a change, then there must be hope for Jamaica.

Yes, Dart. Very good points my friend. We have to emancipate our minds and elevate our thinking more time. Nuff time I just skip certain posts or remain silent for a spell because I don't like certain vibes. Sometimes some man have very good points to make but dem mess it up with cuss words. My son wanted to visit the forum but i have to censor him because he is young (11yrs old). He is a big time Reggaeboyz fan who wants to represent JA one day. He would learn a lot about the game by reading some of the 'ites posts but I have to keep him away because of the nature of some posts.
