hi jt, tell me how are we Jamaica going to develop professionally minded, skillful and team concept players if they do not have the oppportunity to see and learn from the best DISCINPLE foreign based players. these Qualities are learned from observation as well as reading about it from books. They are more pratical than theoretical. one love..By the way I respect your opinion.

France won with 11 foreign based players! Case closed.
You can't win eating Jamaican chicken (i.e. Nutrition is poor)
English long ball is dead -- They will never win the Cup again. So the question is why are we importing players who are forced to adapt to that style.
The only benefit of having foreign players is the psychological benefit that they have from match experience. When to foul, when not to foul but overun the defender, free kick stratiegies etc.
How many persons realize the difference in the Boyz play since the trips to Brazil during the last run up.
I say take the local talent lock them up at the Best Dressed Main Offices and make them run laps on the Constant Spring Golf course.

Dont get me wrong guys...nothing against the foreigners...I'm all for the overseas based thing but to me the bottomline is that football is and always will be a team game...No team with conflict ever wins(well not that I can remember)The world 11 the other day get trash by France bcoz france is a team..they know of and about each other...The 11 best players in the world would still find it difficult to beat them bcoz they in effect become 11 individuals...So in the same notion..one could prop up the Boyz with a whole heap of eligable foreigners if they dont understand Y the pearl bruk down to the last man then thier response to him if disgusted by that move would create a negative vibe which then will bring out a nature all us man know about..Cause the male species will always be competitive against each other....It's not that other carribean teams are not as good as us..Its mainly bcoz they are as Ja was before simoes came...Friend and frenemy business....THE BEST PLAYERS DO NOT ALWAYS MAKE THE BEST TEAM...j'CAN'S are proud people..One cannot force issues down them throat(tell them how better disciplined and professional and technically aware the foreigners are) no matter if it's the truth..One has to be tactful....But also the overseas players have to be people who will fit in with the guys that are thier already..you cant implement players that will disrupt the progress but implement those that enhance...Look at the amount of damage that video b4 our last wc campaign done...Jus mash up the focus...Still we big u man like Burton and simpson cause them man made the first step..they asked to play...nuff others are jus waggonists ,pretenders and opportunists....WE DONT NEED THEM....jAMAICA is a hard place to live and when an individual shows a little ambition and achieve something we wanna dis him by replacing him with a foreigner and just shit on the yute...I for one would feel more proud that we went with guys who gave thier all and lost than with ateam full of darren moores and johnsons....And though they may be in the same position as Hall thier chain of thoughts are wide of the mark....
Furthermore our football doesn't jus need quality and overseas players, these same guys i am sure can give something else to our football...I believe our football is more about pride, self belief, development and Jamaica...bling bling...Please my brothers dont get carried away with the foreign hype..
Yes we need professionalism, discipline, tactics and a world understanding of the game but WE DONT NEED OUR PEOPLE TO BE HELD DOWN OR BACK...if we are not good enough then teach us dont take away our opportunities...They are as few as...already in a the land of sunshine, wood and water....the home of the doctor bird.beautiful women, reggae vibes..etc etc...and hear the parodox...a pure johncrow fly high over Jamaica...Damn scavingers...Dem woulda tek everything if we lie down and loww dem....
easy color red..the fact that yu did live in England then yu should a nuff jamaican deh England but dont know where to find it...
This is a country that puts a jewish white bwoy acting like a jamaican on prime time tv but the real jamaican comedians cant get aired until 11'o'clock...Majority of black people in England are lost...Dont have an identity...Them man deh cant run Jamaica...No foreigner makes it in Jamaica unless they have an understanding of the people, culture and jamaica...The same goes for the football...

True words Jt, don't stop preaching. We as a people need to re-examine our roots. There are
so many Jamaicans overseas that have truly lost their IDENTITY.I have said before if there is a position that needs to be filled and the local talent not producing the goods,
then by all means look elsewhere to fill the gap. However I do believe that the present squad is doing fairly okay, but we still need to have a certain amount of cover in the event of injury,or suspensions.

PEACE EVERYTIME.

Bwoy JT, true words IYA, what is left to say, I think you said it all. I remember when we the yardies use to bring the culture to our distant brothers, any lickle food or tape, but now they are brining some bling , bling culture that is quite alien to us.
