1. janesDaughtersAunt is either Jane's sister or sisterInLaw.
2. janesDaughtersAuntsHusbandsDaughtersSister(Candice) is either janesDaughtersAunt's daughter or stepDaughter.
3. If you take all the possibilities Candice is either JanesNiece, JanesStepNiece, janesSisterInLawsDaughter or janesSisterInLawsStepDaughter. too many possibilities only one of which is real relationship (janesNiece).
It is safest to say she is "jane's daughter's aunt's husband's daughter's sister". In the commune jane is simply Candice's elder (and not even that is for sure).
