This prove that they are not rucks, but it also proves that something is amiss when these non-rucks play together. Maybe playing together is the problem. Too many individual accomplishments without the mentality to translate them into a cohesive unit. Maybe time will help in that regard.
In the past Brazil was also accussed of too many individualistic accomplished players, but you don't hear that anymore even though this Brazilian team have even more established stars. Now you hear that despite their individual accomplishments they are a very cohesive unit who play their role and don't try to overshadow each other.

Professor WD is learning at the senior level, I do not believe Ricketts fits into his style of play. While we lost against Mexico and USA in the 2005 Gold cup, team chemistry was much better.
jt i wouldnt really mark gerard, i think the player that will do the most damage to us is joe cole.........he is the player that gonna give us trouble, i do hope someone mark him, gerard will be playing just behind owen just as in the hungry game, i watched it and i dont think he did much apart from the header he took for his goal, just hope they dont let him shoot near goal......i think our defenders should learn the art of blocking, i think they like to stand up and watch people shoot at our goal. if we flood the midfield and stop there play and give the ball to fuller to run at them, i notice they always start attach mostly down the right from neville to beckham......our 5 midfield should kill that play.
jamalt...how could a goalkeeper not fit into the coach/team style of play? al he is doing is blocking the goal stopping the ball going in the net and command his backline......how simple is that.
The changing of a coach is not the answer to every loss. In fact sometimes when we loose we actually win. Give the current staff time to experiment with their players.
We need to learn from history. Remember we changed coach in mid air and got screwed. When we changed CB for Lazaroni (because of name recognition)in mid stream of qualifications.
Anyway, when all is said and done we're just a hard set a people fi please.

command his backline and ball distribution is the problem with Ricketss. In terms of shot blocking, he is one of the best from the CONCACAF region without a doubt.

Now lets discuss defensive options...Omar Daley WILL nuetralize Joe Cole! I was not a great fan of Omar but seeing him lately in in the last 3 matches have changed that perception. He is tenacious and NEVER gives up! I love that heart and would never tade it for anything. He's reminding me of the LATE LEGENDARY "Shorty" MALCOMB. If all the boyz had an incliment of his HEARt we would always be proud of them WIN, LOSE OR DRAW!
Khari will prove his worth in this game as he competes for the middle of the field. Lampard and Hue will meeet and the better thinker will decide the game. Reid, will have his hands full and MUST talk without fearing there will be no cover for him when he goes forward. Euell has something to prove to the English managers that he's that special and should ALWAYS be a part of their plan in top flight games! He must hamper Beckham all the way, and even outshine him.
Fuller will show that his return is genuine. King will no doubt be at this ceremonal WELCOME party. The I AM THE MAN attitude is here to stay, and this is no fluke... will be his mindset. Shelton will be seeking a contract and not too far off in are the scouts.
