It is really a shame ... Did you vote today? I am sure when Bibi was on the ballot you voted every day. Well here is another chance to give a fellow yardman some recognition.
Philred, I just voted again sir for Mr. Damani Ralph. I do hope with this vote, he'll get the nod over the other contestants.
I'll report again on my next vote sir.
Voting Schedule February 7: Voting begins February 13: Nominees cut to 20 February 20: Nominees cut to 10 February 27: Nominees cut to 5 March 6: Voting ends March 7: Winner announced
I really wonder how many voted for him though. From this thread and the other thread there were a few faithful voters, but when you compare it to the thread for Bibi, you clearly see more support for him.
Let me ask is this an indication of support for UK based as opposed to US or other foreign based players, or is it just a preference that there is just a greater Bibi following?

Phil, don't take it to heart my youte.
- The fact is that, Bibi is a far better player than Damani. Although they play in different positions.
- Plays in a more prestige league.
- Has a bigger fan base.
- Hence, more successful.
Many of us voted but remember Damani isn't from the US and the US fans that knows him would rather vote for their US player. Same deal with the Hispanic players. The Hispanics fans will vote for their own as well.

Maybe some of us just wary about corrupt voting practices. I found it amusing how we just naturally indulged in the skullduggery of voting multiple times from different computer, etc. without any pause .
