Why yuh so contankarous breddren? Go learn the difference between an excuse and an explanation. I was just telling things as it was explained to me by the Salvadorians and Hondurans themselves. I done know seh Jamaicans' tepid support for football is what it is. Nobody need fi explain dat to me.
By the way US have 312 million people so that's a poor comparison.

SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador (AP) -- El Salvador coach Ruben Israel has resigned, leaving behind only a letter saying he is stepping down.
El Salvador federation president Carlos Mendez Cabezas read Israel's letter to reporters Monday. Israel had criticized some journalists, saying when they "have a microphone in their hand they feel the need to exercise power they surely do not have at home.''
Mendez Cabezas said he hoped to contact Israel, who is from Uruguay, and convince him to change his mind.
El Salvador has only one point from its first two World Cup qualifying matches. Mexico leads the group with six points and Costa Rica has four.

El Salvador names Castillo as Head Coach
SAN SALVADOR, El Salvador - Former Honduras national team manager Juan de Dios Castillo will take over as the coach of El Salvador's national side, the Salvadoran federation announced Saturday.
The 61-year-old Mexican, who has coached nearly a dozen club sides, was to arrive from Monterrey, Mexico, next week to replace Ruben Israel, who resigned this past week, the federation said in a release on its website.
"El Cuate" has coached Real Espana and Olimpia in Honduras, and led "Los Catrachos" on an interim basis in 2011, winning the Copa Centroamericana before yielding to Luis Fernando Suarez in March of that year.
Israel resigned on Monday amid a dispute with the Instituto Nacional de Deportes de El Salvador - or INDES, which provides funding to the federation -- and its president, former player and coach Jaime Rodriguez.
After winning all six of its matches in the second round of World Cup qualifying, El Salvador has only one draw in two games in the semifinal round and is in third place in Group B behind Mexico and Costa Rica. Only two teams will advance to the final round of qualifying.
El Salvador will play friendlies against Guatemala on August 11 in Los Angeles and Jamaica four days later in Washington before facing Guyana in its next qualifying September 7 in San Salvado
