It's official. Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller Will be in attendance for the game. Got it from a behind the scene source. I guess her presence should help in galvanizing the Jamaican fans to get behind the Boyz.

I believe the boyz will start with the sane starting eleven they started with against Guatemala, except for Rickets.
In their training session today, the Guatemala starting eleven played on the same side. When they switched and played half the length of the field, (making the field more compact), Fuller, Stevens, (whom I recognized) played on the Likely starting 11.
Stevens is very composed on the ball. Phillips is a real live wire. Is his nick name "Ninja"? I thought I heard someone shouted that name, calling for the ball from him.

Antigua St John's - The Jamaica Reggae Boyz may be the favourite to beat the Antigua & Barbuda Benna Boyz, but the visitors will not be taking the home team lightly when they clash tonight at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
Fresh off a 2-1 win over Guatemala on Friday at home in the semis of the FIFA World Cup, the Reggae Boyz will be looking for a repeat performance on the road.
The Benna Boyz went down 1-3 to the USA in Tampa the same time Jamaica was knocking off Guatemala and will be hoping to turn around their fortunes against Jamaica.
The visitors went through an extremely loose practice yesterday at the stadium and Coach Theodore Whitmore is focused on another win and is taking nothing for granted.
“We do not underestimate any opponent,” Whitmore said after the team’s workout.
“No matter what team we play, Brazil, Argentina, Cuba, Antigua, we do not take teams lightly.”
Whitmore, a former national team midfield general, added that the team’s mood is a clear demonstration of what one can expect later tonight.
The coach went on to say that he knows that the home team will be coming out to play at their best and that his team will be ready to play.
“Antigua is a good team and I know they will be coming out to play tough football, but the guys’ mood shows that they are loose and ready,” Whitmore said.
Jamaica goes into the game tied with the United States at the top of the four-team group after both teams won their opening encounters.
Antigua & Barbuda is considered out of its league in this competition, but the team demonstrated a level of maturity against the US that should carry over against the Jamaicans.
Tonight will be the true test of the Benna Boyz.
The Jamaicans, though ranked below the US, is a different team and should give the Benna Boyz some trouble in the middle and from set pieces.
To combat those aspects of the Jamaicans’ game, the Benna Boyz will have to raise their game perhaps two or three notches.
They will have to put Friday’s game behind them and become extremely disciplined in defence.
The Jamaicans are known for their trick plays, running men in offside position and springing a runner through the middle.
That will be a huge challenge for the home team.
Keeper Molvin James had a great game against the US and he will have to duplicate that performance and even improve on that.
A win for Antigua & Barbuda will certainly put them back on the road to Rio after they were derailed against the United States.

Reggae Boyz not underestimating Antigua & Barbuda Published: Tuesday | June 12, 2012 0 Comments

Jamaica's Reggae Boyz will do well to enter today's round three Group A FIFA World Cup Qualifier against regional minnows Antigua and Barbuda with a reminder that their opponents were not only responsible for crushing Haiti's 2014 World Cup dreams, but have also brought heartache to Jamaicans in the past.
Antigua and Barbuda knocked Jamaica out of the 1989 Shell Cup tournament with a 1-0 win in what was the teams' first meeting. Jamaica have since gone on to win the four subsequent games played between the outfits, but it is hardly ever an easy outing for Jamaican teams in the Eastern Caribbean and today's encounter could be another close affair. Kick-off time is 6 p.m. (Ja time).
Between 1995 and 1998 Jamaica had 2-1, 2-0, 3-0 and 1-0 wins over their opponents but as head coach Theodore Whitmore points out, those results will count for little later today.
Caribbean rivalry
"No team in this World Cup qualification is going to be easy, especially because we know it's a Caribbean rivalry," said Whitmore shortly after his team managed a 2-1 win inside 'The Office' against Guatemala last Friday.
"We expect a tough showing from the Antiguan team and we are up for the challenge and we are preparing for them as well," Whitmore added.
Goals from Demar Phillips (41st) and Ryan Johnson (46th) got Jamaica's campaign off to a positive start as the country looks to return to the FIFA World Cup finals for a second time after their 1998 appearance. Jamaica have not been to the final qualifying round since 2002, but a win in St John's today and positive results in back-to-back games against the United States in September will put them in good stead.
"We got the win at home and have three points in the bag, now we have Antigua and Barbuda; we are concentrating on that and moving forward from game to game," said striker Luton Shelton, who left the field in discomfort after a groin concern against Guatemala.
"Everyone believes in the abilities of this team, our goal is to get to the World Cup and we are focused and making the most of our abilities. We are all approaching this Antigua game as disciplined as possible, we know that we have to play well away from home as well," Shelton added. "This is one of our best chances to go all the way but I am not thinking about all that just now, we are focused on taking it one game at a time."
Shelton, who plays his football in Turkey for Karabukspor, insists that he will be ready for the game against Antigua and Barbuda and that he is thriving under the new responsibilities given to him as the team's vice captain.
"I always go out there and try to play disciplined, it's not about me scoring goals all the time, I want to score goals of course, I am a goalscorer after all and have scored over 30 goals for the national team, but at the same time it's not so important for me as long as we win the games, play disciplined and get into the World Cup," said Shelton.
"I'm not thinking too much about the groin, when I got the rebound shot (against Guatemala) I took it and felt a little tug and after that I was scared because I really don't want to get injured so I thought the best thing was to protect myself and come back for the next game," said Shelton in regards to his fitness.
Jamaica with three points are top of Group A along with the United States, who defeated the Antiguans 3-1 in their opener also played last Friday.

Thanks. I will send them to you, and you perform the magic (laugh).
I wish there was a simpler method though, like copy and paste.
There is a heighten sense of anticipation in the air in Antigua at the moment. Virtually every body is on the subject of the match: the Benna Boys vs the Reggae Boyz. The gates they say will be opened from abour 3pm for the 7pm game.
Of ourse the talk from those who aren't reall football fans (especially the females) but get caught up in the excitement, are very vocal that the Benna will conquer Reggae. I'm not saying that it can't happen as, the ball is round – But the more Knowledgable fans (the men) are more guarded but hopful.
From all indication the stadium should be full with the fans being encouraged to get behind their Benna Boys to inspire them.
It could be a sea of yellow tonight, as that is supposed to be Antigua's home strip. The people are being urged to dress in these yellow replica shirts. And, of course the Jamaicans will be all decked out in their traditional Yellow, too.
