Yeah man. Dada play on whole heap of Cricket pitch during him career. When the Antiguan them tired and pack up behind the ball, somebody like him may prove useful. If him still doing follishness in practice though, I am sure Tappa will maintain him rightful role on the bench.

'ear me now crowd-a-people, nuh tek dis likkle match-up ya fi warm-up ... this one need a plan, the pitch will be a factor, as will the location carrying King Viv name in the centre of the island (nuh figget seh I.V.A. ... also neglected to mention Anti-buda now has the big dawg in the politics of Caribbean Football - heard him interviewed laas week on FM in Kingston ... the bredda dem aks 'im, mussi tree time, 'bout "small island conspiracy" ... ... Tappa, the Benna Boys will be motivated ... mek dem know soundbwoy fi go back a class!

We need to take this match very seriously because it will not be easy. We need to be discipline and clinical in front of goal. We need a clean sheet, also.
Do we start Jermaine Taylor in one of the outside back positions this match?
Having watched Taylor play full back for Houston, I say give him right back. The whole backline are masters at ball distribution , except for lovel . With Taylor there we will look so composed moving the ball.
Lovell had a reasonable game and did his job. Used the ball better than Virgo. So I guess we'll see.
No need to move Phillips, he's doing PLENTY damage from where he is !

Agreed JT brings more steel that is need for Antigua.
We need to watch Byers and the other forward Smith on long balls.

I beg to differ, Taylor plays well at left back as he does on the right and Phillips would be even more effective for us if he played Left Mid in stead of Left back understand. I think another one of the ites commented on how well Phillips played when Mariappa was covering him, if we have Taylor cover him the left side lock. Palmer can continue to play Right back for us.
-----------------Miller (if Ricketts is still out)-------------- Palmer------Nugsy-------------Marriapa-------------------Taylor--

Good line up, and we can be flexible with our line up in Antigua. Having Jevaughn on the field gives us another ball possession type player on the pitch who is not really a runner like Dane, Phillips & Shelton. This basically was the "attacking" side which started against the USA.
It appear that Rudi & Jason Has improve, but Tappa has already tinker with our lineup in having Dane & Phillips on the same side of attack. With Jevaughn on the right being supported by a very mobile Shelton. It does gives us a different look than what teams have seen prior.
Although we're not sure if it's injuries and suspension to our left backs which force this kind of lineup by Tappa. We'll know when Taylor comes back.
Here's a question I have been pondering, having watch the Antigua– USA match. Do you think any of the overseas based Antiguan players would have made the Reggae boyz side. Which one, if any?

I would put money on this being exactly Jamaica's starting line-up against Antigua..or..the same team starting that started against Guatemala, with Jermaine Taylor on the bench.
Peeps seem to think that Jermaine is an automatic inclusion in Jamaica's starting 11 once he's free from suspension...not necessarily so...why should Tappa change a winning team just to accomodate him...Antigua is not a team where Jamaica needs to reinforce defensively...as we will need to do against the USA.
Demar can continue in that nominal left-back position...that is only where he lines up at kick-off anyway...Demar is Jamaica's secret (well, not so secret) attacking weapon...and the player that ALL CONCACAF teams need to fear.
Jamaica will need that reinforced defense with Taylor playing a proper left back against the USA...and Demar creating and attacking from left-midfield.
Against the really strong CONCACAF sides like the USA, to use Demar as a left-back, where he will have to really defend for most of a game..he is a liability...he does not read the game as a defender and he cannot tackle properly...against lesser sides, its his speed of recovery that has him making tackles, which he then flies into, sometimes feet-first and off the ground...that is a red card waiting to happen...and has happened in the past.
Mi no see no player out there now that Tappa needs to give that starting right-back spot to...except Lovell Palmer.

JH the one one or two really good player on the team will go missing since they do not have possession of the ball to show themselves. So that question can't be answered right now.
Tremane Stewart is the baller who going to eat Willy Boo food if Fuller nuh careful. Cause the youth fast, can dribble, is a better shooter from outside the box and passer.
