Yo Skilla, sorry to sound so crude but some them man pon the forum will make any christian backslide. Btw, this applies to the local players as well. See the man dem a stress out Tappa with the BS and him explode pon dem. Why in heavens should the Coaching staff go chasing after grown ass "hard back" men and beg them to come into camp. We're not talking bout kids here. Tappa work with players willing work with you and the rest can go jump off a cliff.

I concur. We done tell the man father/manager we interested. Fi him move now. We only want Jamaicans who are committed to the cause...no rasta cart waggonist or mercenaries.
Tappa just announce squad on class FM 6 New players Nathan Dyer, Darren Pratley, Jermaine Beckford, Daniel Johnson, Jobi Mcnuff and Lloyd Doley, word on the street that Toilette will finally decide to play for Canada
Bigman, mine a lie u a tell enuh! If anyting guh suh it would be really good. These players need to be assessed by the coaching staff and Jobi DEFINITELY will give plenty creative ideas. That team still would need time to gel. BTW it would mean that only Rohan Reid and Xavian Virgo from the RSPL is close to getting a starting spot, and thats fair given the overall quality of our league. I must stress though, that I think our league is improving. The tactical awareness of the players coming out of the RSPL nowadays is much better. The raw talent is no better or worse than before. And we continue to be unable to produce natural strikers because of the bumpy playing fields! That is huge in holding us back. That final bit of technical ability which one touch football brings can't really be practiced here. Mores the pity.

"Where is the actual fact's? has Hoilett in fact declared for Canada? even if he has that does not affect us! so let's take the emotion out of this, and where is the actual that Tappa finaly confirmed these key players that some one said on the Forum"

Impact goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts selected by the Jamaican National Team Will join Reggae Boyz from May 27 to June 14 May 22, 2012 Press Release Montreal Impact Getty Images
MONTREAL, Quebec - Montreal Impact goalkeeper Donovan Ricketts has been selected by the Jamaican National Team for the upcoming third round of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifying phase. Ricketts will be with the team from May 27 to June 14.
WATCH: Ricketts proud to represent Jamaica
“It’s always nice to represent your country," said Ricketts. "It brings the best out of you when you play the other worlds best. It’s a dream to play in the World Cup, so it’s an honour to be called to play for the qualifiers. This may be my last chance to qualify for the World Cup, so I just want to help the team succeed. We have a good team with quality players based in Europe, MLS and all over the world, so I think we have a good chance to qualify.”
“It’s always positive for a player to go and play for your national team,” said Impact head coach Jesse Marsch. “It gives you confidence. I’m happy for him and I think he’s been in really good form. We expect him to be true to that with the Jamaican National Team.”
Jamaica, currently ranked 51st in FIFA’s World Ranking, will play two friendlies against Panama on May 27 and June 2. The team will then face Guatemala in its first game of the World Cup Qualifying stage on June 8 followed by a match against Antigua & Barbuda on June 12.
Along with Antigua & Barbuda and Guatemala, the United States is the other team in Group A with Jamaica.
Since 1998, Ricketts has played in 85 games for the Jamaican National Team. He is also vice-captain of the team. He most notably represented his country in 24 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches in 2002, 2006 and 2010. He also participated in the 2009 and 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cups.
Ricketts has played all 14 games for the Impact this season, earning three shutouts over all competitions and is currently second with 59 shots against and fifth amongst MLS goalkeepers with 38 saves.

There's a battle for every position on the team, which should bring out the best efforts of all. Khari Stephenson should be in the mix for that central midfield role. His size could be a valuable asset against a team like the US.
I didn't really know where to post this, but Marcus Gayle just posted this picture on Twitter with the caption "Reggae boyz in town !!" I believe thats (from left) Frank Sinclair, Marcus Gayle, Paul Hall, and Deon Burton and they're in Barbados for a legends tour.
