Lack of organisation from JFF is a problem. Ric made a point about how the new US recruits have passports given to them by the USSF while our players apply for theirs themselves which is a joke. It makes the process from players 1st annoncing they want to play for us to them playing for us a longer process than it needs to be. Also when pro players in England or where ever else inform the JFF of their interest in playing for us and the JFF turns around and says "YOU NEED TO GET A JAMAICAN PASSPORT", the 1st thought thats gonna come to these players minds is WOW, I NEED TO APPLY FOR A PASSPORT MYSELF, THIS IS NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. That kind of unprofessionalism could be enough to make somebody who thought they wanted to play for us think, "DO I REALLY WANT TO DO THIS", which isnt good enough, we need to aproach things professionally if we want good professionals to take our movement seriously for real.

We are all saying that we need to increase the player pool and bring in some new talent, but also an important fact is that many of our players need to get out aswell.

1. Jermaine Taylor ( defender who cant defend).

2. Jevaughn Watson ( has just turned pro so has time to improve but not at the standard we need right now).

3. Ryan Johnson (Just not good enough. watched highlights of us against Argentina 2nd team and he was causing them problems and I thought he was some one to watch. However everytime ive watched him hes been useless. doesnt score goals in MLS so how tappa expects him to do it for us I really don't know.

4 Kevin Bryan striker in vietnam 4 song lahm suttom( Aint good enough right now, maybe he'll improve, but sorry not now fam).

5. Rudolph Austin ( Everytime ive seen him for play for us hes looked over aggressive and about as mobile as a football stadium. Brother cant move. Somebody said he was Norway footballer of the year which is an amazing achievement so if that is the case he must have stepped his game up so give him another chance but if hes doing that same non sense again then Rudolph redcard Austin needs to get sacked from JA duty).

6. Khari Stephenson ( Absolutely useless and I never wonna see him in Black, Gold and Green again. I watched him live in Leicester when we played Ghana and if it wasnt for the fact he was wearing a gold shirt I wouldve been sure he was playing for Ghana coz he was just giving them the ball like he was getting paid to do that. Ive watched him playing in Sweden and MLS before and his performances there aint changed my opinion of him,USELESS).

7. Lovel Palmer ( another 1 that can improve, but right now hes not at the level we need him to be, so not now bredrin sorry).

If we are serious about qualifying for BRAZIL 2014 then the man above have to go bar Rudy who id give another chance but the rest gotta go because none of them are good enough to play for our rival nations so they cant play for us or we aint qualifying for anyting a tall for real.

Hey RG, Taylor hasn't being too bad for us especially at left back; he's the better passer and handler of the ball from the back than all our defenders.

Yep Jevaughn is lower on the pecking order; Omar & Keamar are ahead of him. just part of the pool.

Don't forgot Johnson Had put on some clutch performance for us; he scored the lone goal against Honduras in Gold Cup. Against the USA he showed heart. True he doesn't score as much but he works hard for us, as well as his club team of which he's a consistent starter. So I wouldn't discard Johnson but have him compete with others for a spot:
Cummings
Shelton
Fuller
(Beckford & King
)

Austin is a keeper, he's still improving, but needs to be in his rightful position, defensive midfield.

Kari; poor work rate and would be a defensive liability in midfield. He's skilled and has a good shot but his poor work rate is a deal breaker.

Agreed, Palmer not ready yet for this higher level. Earlier for houston he's was playing defensive midfield, and I said someone will take his spot if doesn't increase his ball handling ability and take some more chances going forward. He lost his spot and got traded. Where he's at they stuck him at right back; he needs to take this off season and work on his game.

Im sticking with what I said about Taylor, when I watched him playing in the playoffs at left back he looked a mess and he generally dont look good enough in my opinion though I agree he is composed with the ball but I think Dicoy and Demar are also good with the ball. In the playoff game im talking about Landon DONOVAN was running Taylor raggid and Donovans more of a clever player than a quick 1 so that was concerning, I was embarassed for him watching that game for real. Austin deserves more time I agree but if hes gonna play right back Tappas better off not picking him at all. I agree if hes gonna play he must play defensive midfield. Another reason he has probably not performed well in recent times is Tappas terrible tactics, he was playing with a 3-4-3 formation which was a major problem because most good teams play 5 in midfield and with us playing with 4 the opponents always had an extra man in midfield so we were getting ripped apart in there. Now Tappa has the right formation and Austin will probably play alot better. As for Ryan Johnson he dont score enough goals and his general game aint up to the level of others in our ranks so I say he must go. Fuller and Cummings are dangerous and a real threat and Johnson isnt, though I admit he had some good moments at the gold cup and that he may perform better with our new tactics because we will probably have the ball more.

Another thing is you said that Taylor is the best passer of our backline players and I will say to that, watch the gold cup again and study the long range passing of Dicoy at the back and you will probably change your thinking on that subject.

And when I said striker for Song lam suttom I wasnt talking about Kavin Bryan who I think is better than alot of people think, I was talking about Andre Fagan who I havent seen much of but what I have seen of him, he needs time and I think he will improve in the pro enviroment he is in now. Dont forget hes only 24 and has time to develope still

Gareth McCleary hasnt been in the Nottingham Forest team for a long time so I dont think he will make a great impact for us. Luke Hubbins hasnt started a game for Birmingham yet so I dont think hes ready for now. Karl Henry is strong, good tackler and a good leader of his troops at WOLVES so he is a good option and a realistic target. Ebanks-Blake isnt really better than the strikers we have but he is a good player and would give us another striking option and he is another realistic target. REDMOND is another Birmingham yout and he is playing regular for. He is 1 of the brightest young stars in English football, he is a little magician and though hes just 17 he is already good enough to come into our squad and make us better he plays left-wing, right-wing or behind the main striker. Hes quick and very very skillfull so i'd say him rather than Hubbins

Jermaine Pennant is another 1 that would improve our team. His crossing is the best in the world and Fuller would score alot more goals with Pennant supplying him with amunition. Its not worth us calling up 2bob players. We need to call up players who will improve us so its not about quantity, its about quality and Pennant is 1 of the quality options so add him to the names above aswell. We are his only real option and playing with Fuller should make it alot easier for us to get him.

Sanchez Watt is another player that has been mentioned on the forum before. He is quick and a promising young player but hes not good enough right now to make any impact for us but could be 1 for the future just not for the next qualifying campaign. Kyle Bartley is another young Arsenal player. Hes on loan at Rangers in Scotland now but i dont know if he qualifies to play for us but he is already better than all our defenders so he is worth investigating for real. He is a badman and hes young so he'll improve with experience

Ive got another player whose name I dont think Ive seen on the forum before. Ryan Shotton ( right back for STOKE). He is young, quick, strong and disciplined. I read on the net that his dad is Jamaican, I dont know how reliable the source is but thats what it says. Shotton is another 1 who plays with Fuller so he should be another easy aquisition. Right back is a problem for us so Danny Simpson or Ryan SHOTTON WOULD MAKE A MASSIVE DIFFERENCE TO OUR TEAM.

We are all demanding more talented players so we can reach new heights and have the best possible chance of reaching BRAZIL 2014, but we need not to forget that we already have alot of good players we just need to add to what we already have and not forget that we have quality now.
1) WE HAVE GOOD GOALKEEPERS.(RICKETTS AND MILLER ARE BAD)
2) DEMAR PHILLIPS HAS IMPROVED ALOT AND BECOME ONE OF OUR BIGGEST THREATS.
3) OMAR CUMMINGS IS A BADMAN AND WILL CAUSE ANY CONCACAF DEFENCE PROBLEMS IF HE IS SUPPLIED.
4) RICARDO FULLER IS ONE OF THE WORLDS MOST TALENTED AND HARD WORKING CENTRE FORWARDS.
5) DANE RICHARDS HAS UNBELIEVABLE PACE AND IF WE GET THE BALL TO HIM IN THE RIGHT AREAS OF THE PITCH HE WILL BE UNPLAYABLE.
6) JASON MORRISON HAS QUALITY AND HAS SHOWN IT, HE JUST NEEDS TO BE MORE CONSISTANT OVER THE FULL 90MINS.
7) LUTON SHELTON IS ANOTHER BADMAN, JUST EVERYONE HAS FORGOT BECAUSE HES BEEN PLAYING OUT OF POSITION ON THE LEFT. I HAVE WATCHED HIM DESTROY MAN UNITED AT OLD TRAFFORD AND DESTROY BARCELONA'S SECOND TEAM WHO ARE BETTER THAN MOST TEAMS 1ST 11 SO WHEN HE PLAYS AS A STRIKER, ON HIS DAY NO DEFENCE WILL BE COMFORTABLE AGAINST HIM, AND DONT FORGET HE IS OUR LEADING ALL TIME SCORER. HE WILL BE BACK.
8) NATHAN SMITH IS A QUALITY LEFT BACK WHO I THINK BELONGS AT A MUCH HIGHER LEVEL THAN WHERE HE IS RIGHT NOW, HES QUICK AND DIRECT AND CAN ALSO DEFEND.
9) DICOY WILLIAMS SHOWED AT THE GOLD CUP THAT HE HAS THE ABILITY TO BE A DOMINANT FORCE IN OUR BACKLINE AND HE IS COMPOSED AND CAN START ATTACKS WITH HIS LONG RANGE PASSING.
10) MARVIN ELLIOT BELONGS AT EPL LEVEL HE WOULD BE THERE RIGHT NOW IF BRISTOL CITY WERENT SO HUNGRY TO KEEP HIM AND HE CAN PERFORM AGAINST THE CONCACAF BIG GUNS FOR REAL.
11) DEMAR STEWART IS COMPOSED AND A QUALITY DEFENDER. HE JUST LOOKED BAD AGAINST THE U.S AT THE GOLD CUP BECAUSE THE FORMATION WE PLAYED WITH PUT US UNDER PRESSURE AND WITH 3 AT THE BACK OUR DEFENDERS HAD NO PROTECTION.
12) SHAVAR THOMAS IS ANOTHER 1 THAT MAY SUPPRISE PEOPLE IN THE NEAR FUTURE WHEN HES PLAYING IN TAPPAS NEW SYSTEM WHICH PROVIDES MORE PROTECTION TO THE BACKLINE AND BETTER GENERAL TEAM ORGANISATION IN GENERAL.
13) WE HAVE ALOT OF QUALITY PLAYERS ON THE ROSTER THAT WE CAN BRING BACK IN. PRATLEY, MCANUFF, HUMPHREY, STEWPEAS, NOSWORTHY, GARDNER, JERMAINE JOHNSON, CAMPBELL-RYCE AND LEE WILLIAMSON WHO IS ANOTHER SKILLFULL FORGOTTEN MAN AND MANY MANY MORE.
14) WE HAVE A TALENTED GROUP OF YOUNG PLAYERS COMING THROUGH WHO COULD BE READY WHEN BRAZIL 2014 ARRIVES.
15) ITS NOT ALL BAD, WE HAVE QUALITY, BUT THE GROUP ABOVE WITH QUALITY ADDITIONS TO THE ROSTER, IN TAPPA'S NEW SYSTEM WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO STOP FOR REAL.

WE NEED A NEW THEODORE WHITMORE. THE MAGIC MAN TO OPEN UP DEFENCES WHO WE DONT HAVE IN OUR MIDFIELD. K.DALEY IS THE CLOSEST THING WE HAVE BUT HES NO TAPPA FOR NOW. WE HAVE WINGERS AND STRIKERS AND DEFENSIVE MIDFIELDERS IN ABUNDANCE, JUST NO TAPPA IN THE MIDDLE. THIS IS THE MAIN ATTACKING PROBLEM IN OUR TEAM. OMAR HOLNESS LOOKS LIKE HE HAS THE ABILITY TO DEVELOPE INTO OUR TAPPA OF THE FUTURE BUT WE NEE 1 RIGHT NOW, SO NEW RECRUITS ARE NEEDED

Happy new year to everybody on the forum. 2012 is a massive year for Jamaican football. It will need to be alot better than our 2011 but I believe it will be. We are not far away from being where we need to be. A few editions and we will be flying to Brazil 2014. Keep the faith everybody, crunch time is aproaching and I believe.

Lewis McGuaguan, Jonathon De Guzman, Raheem Sterling, Jobi Mcanuff can all fill the gap behind our main striker and provide the Tappa magic we need. In our new formation the Tappa role is probably the most important role in the team so Tappa please fill that void from now.

De Guzman declared for Canada because he's not getting into the Dutch side according to his Bro. Julian....

Bring Jobi McAnuff into the side or drop Fuller back to play in the 'hole' just behind the strikers...that is the role that Tappa played for Jamaica at his peak.

Tappa was a 'running' footballer so he dropped 'deep' more time to collect the ball from Cargill and run at defenders from deep but Andy Williams was Jamaica's creative force in midfield at the time...Tappa was NOT a midfielder, as most people mistakenly believe...Tappa was a deep-lying forward, playing behind Jamaica's strikers at the time...Deon Burton et al.

Fuller, with his skill, vision and experience, is perfect for this role now...

Ryan Shotton has learned the art of the LONG THROW from the master himself..Rory Delap.

Has anyone seen how far this yute flings the football ?

A fkn mazing mi tell u.

ive seen it still it is amazing but I dont want us to start playing like Stoke and throwing the ball into the box from anywhere inside the opponents half but it is a useful tool to have. He is a good right back without that weapon though, he would be a good recruit. I think we need fuller further forward to be our Drogba in the lone striker role so I think Mcanuff is the player for the role behind the striker of all the players currently on our roster. Another player that qualifies to play for us and has the quality we need Jerome Thomas (west brom). He is another skillfull recruitment option. We have all named so many options on this forum that surely we must can get at least 4 or 5 of them.

If De Guzman has declared for Canada then they will be a threat in the 2014 qualifyers next year. Lets just hope they dont recruit Hoilett aswell or they will be a real problem for us. We need to get on the Hoilett case quick fast for real.

WHERE WE ARE RIGHT NOW:
Ofcourse everybody would be alot more optimistic if we recruited some of the English born talent we all want in our squad. USA, MEXICO, PANAMA, COSTA RICA, HONDURAS, CANADA will all be difficult opponents for us in the coming qualifying campaign but I still think that even without new recruits we have enough good players to fight for a place at BRAZIL 2014 and we still have a good chance. I'm gonna write the team I think is our best 11 from our current roster below and say what you think of it and write your choices if you want to.

Dane Richards or Cummings was a difficult choice for the right wing place but I chose Cummings because I think his crossing and final pass are better.
