It will be interesting to see the squad list for this match. Because right now the player with the shortest travel distance/time is Omar Cummings travel from Hawaii. Hopefully, some of the V-league ballas get a run.

So when is Junior Hoilett going to be added to the mix? I've been watching this kid's exploits in the EPL all season and think he could really fill that role of creative midfielder or 2nd striker. JFF, please don't drag your feet on this one. Also, check out Jonathan De Guzman from Villareal.

New Zealand squad includes 5 U23/Olympic-age players and 5 players outside of the A-league, the rest of the squad are all A-league players.

Danny Williams (Hoffenheim)

FORWARDS (5):
Jozy Altidore (AZ Alkmaar)
Terrence Boyd (Borussia Dortmund)
Edson Buddle (LA Galaxy)
Clint Dempsey (Fulham)
Landon Donovan (LA Galaxy)

While the JFF/Tappa mulling over whether or not to add school boys to our senior team, and the news media supporting this nonsense, the USA is adding Bundesliga players and MEX first division players to their already top quality squad.

Danny Williams (Hoffenheim)
Fabian Johnson (Hoffenheim)
Jermaine Jones (Schalke 04)
Jose Torres (Pachuca)

Of all the good quality midfielders the USA has in the MLS NOT ONE made the team, and nobody is crying over it in the news media or what have you.

And in JA we have the news media and locals, and man N man on this site a bawl fi the inclusion of inexperience, non-professional players and yutes to be added to the senior team.

I'm now questioning certain man, including the TVJ commentator's football intelligence.

We have approximately 20 players in the EPL, 15 in Championship, and we getting excited over school boys; this is turning into comedy relief.

No worry Uself HI, we no need Jobi McAnuff, we have Joel Senoir now. We kno need Scott Sinclair or Nathan Dyer because we have Georginho James & Xavian Virgo who are almost as good. If Hoilett kno wa play fi we tell him seh we have nuff talent a yard fi tek him place.

It seems we have vacate our football minds and gone into lala land. Someone on here written recently about our fairy tale love affair with our past ballaz, who really never accomplish anything on the world football stage. Someone need to repost that piece.

It seems some of us Jamaicans are more into football fairy tales than football realities. Can you imagine Klingsman adding allstar college players to his squad? It would never happen.

It seems Tappa & the JFF haven't learned any lessons from last summer's Caribbean Cup. Mr Man Morgan & Keamar could not make it to the semi-finals, why? Tappa said the level, plus the intensity was just too much for them. These two were considered top talents in JA. Is Senor & James better than these two?

It's time for this foolishness to stop, and the amateurish football mentality of the JFF to cease.

The KIWI trip must be taken very seriously, this is not a school boy vacation. We need our very best players possible to represent us in preparation for qualifiers.

You bought into this school boy football nonsense too JMTL?

You haven't learned anything about football from years of watching it? A little yute score a goal and all of a sudden him ready fi big time football. To Play against seasoned, well travelled, experience players playing top flight football in top leagues around the world.

You a real joker..... you should be licking out against this over hyping and bring reality into the mix, and you dedeh a jump and a lick your head like TVJ Commentator....

If them going to give J James a pass, then Mattocks should bawl foul and say he's the one deserving of that chance.

HI,

I do not know if Mattocks has been called or not since his club's website or no media outlets have stated so.

fyi, I am completely opposed to schoolboys competing against seasoned professionals at any national team level U20,u23 or senior. As I asked on the other thread, why has Jorginho not featured in the RSPL for Harbour View?

So why did you list him amongst those going to KIWI when no official announcement was made to the fact? In that you appear to be vying for his inclusion.

And I'm not saying Mattock should be called either, I was being fecitious. mek the yute prove himself at the MLS level first, so that our football program don't turn into the joke program of the century.

Not from me personally, from the Jamaica Observer article below:

Whitmore told the Observer that if the budding striker "could just keep his head", the future could indeed be bright.

"The whole coaching staff has been talking about him. He's very confident and he does whatever he wants with the ball.... So for Jorginho to score tonight (Wednesday) is something that we have to sit and talk to him going forward," said Whitmore.

For tonight's game, the senior Boyz coach has already factored in the juvenile player in his plans and beyond.

"Jorginho James is certainly one who will actually be in the team (tonight) and will be travelling to New Zealand as well. Again, it's just a start for him and it's how well he can handle the pressure (that will ultimately determine how far he goes)," concluded Whitmore.

Following the Cuba match-up, Jamaica are due to depart the island tomorrow for a friendly against New Zealand on Wednesday.

I think the criticism of Dwayne Miller is unfair he has been a solid keeper for JA and is way better than any of the local keepers.
