takeways: Austin plays better at left back Dada plays too small for physical teams like Hon. Still need a midfield. Don't need to fret when rickets is out. The new players look as ruxy as the others, blended in well, nothing outstanding.

EEEEEEEDIATTT JAMAICA LOSE AGAIN! THE JFF AND TAPP-IN-A THE HEAD NO-MORE-WIT DOING THERE BEST TO SCREW US AGAIN. AIM LOW AND YOU'LL ALWAYS END UP AT THE BOTTOM.
RESPECT TO THE ENGLISH YOUTH DEM. THEY PLAYED WELL FOR THEIR FIRST GAME WITH THE TEAM.
WE WON'T GET ANYWHERE WITHOUT ATTRACTING AT LEAST THREE OR MORE PLAYERS FROM THE EPL. WE NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP IN THE MIDFIELD AND CENTRAL DEFENSE. THE ENGLISH YOUTH AT LEFT BACK PLAYED WELL EXCEPT THAT I CAN SEE HE HAS SOME LAPSE IN JUDGMENT AND ANGER MANAGEMENT. WE NEED CENTRAL DEFENDERS AS WELL.

Well, you all saw it. The English youtes did well with the time given. Nathan SMITH was the best out there tonight! Elliot in the middle was not prominent and Marcus Bean was running the 12minutes he got. A fighter he looks like to me in the brief time, he won all his balls and lost one and was doggedly back in defense to get that ball in tracking back.
Damion williams not ready for this, needs a bit more time on the field like as the 2nd half begins. Morrison was the BIGGEST WEAK LINK toninght. He can only play 45mins it seems. he always falters in the 2nd half. And my GOD Rudi "FAST TRUCK"Austin is NOT suited at RIGHT BACK! He gets beaten too often with overhead passes. He is always having to run behind the winger and he gets lost after he overlaps so he is and was a target tonight.
Cummings bearly saw the ball tonight. The final third pass was woeful. Much individual skills present and they had to create their chances if they were to attack, so the midfield was not coherent! The keeper gets the best player award then Demar "Peel Head" Phillips. Jah know di team yah have something, but dem nuh ready!!!
Coach failed to add all those guys on the bench. Stop wasting their time, money and effort if they are not going to make the team TAPPA!!!Why did he have Wollerey Wolf on if he was not going to even get 10mins. The Hondurans made 5 changes and what we did?? Shit you said its development, so why not add them and see what they have to offer in game situation? I am going say it, and no apology..STUPID!! Stop waste people time and again KEMAR DALEY IS NOT READY!!!! He is impatient and does not tackle well. He made the 2nd goal to score as he only stepped at the tackle and then came to a stop. look at the replay! Morrison cause the 1st one, as he was not tracking back at full speed, and the attacking midfielder got to the ball before he did. Shavar is too slow and he got shown up thre times and was bailed out with poor shoooting from the Hondurans.
The team looks like it has lost its rudder. The team is talented, but its mnissing something and 1 crowning midfielder is not going to do it. Franly, what we started with on paper looked really good, but something is missing. All I can say is TAPPA, find it quick, as you will get cut next! Patience run thin just about now, so hey what you think your bosses are thinking now?? _________________________ Give me half a chance and I'll make it one

LA CEIBA, Honduras— Jamaica went down 1-2 to Honduras here at the Estadio Municipal Ceibano to record their fifth consecutive defeat.
Striker Jerry Bengtson put the home team ahead in the second minute of play, but Jamaica rallied and got their just reward on the stroke of half time when Demar Phillips placed a perfect left-footed free-kick into the top corner of the goal.
However, 11 minutes into the second half Mario Martinez secured victory when he rifled home with the aid of a deflection, after he danced inside from the right flank and let fly a wicked left-footer from 25 yards.
Played in front of a full house on the northern coastal city of La Ceiba, Jamaica were stunned immediately on Panamanian referee Roberto Moreno's first whistle.
Jamaica charged forward from the kick off but lost possession and were not able to recover on the counter attack as the ball was played down the right flank to veteran Julio Cesar de Leon, who relayed a pass to Roger Rojas. The striker slipped a pass through to Martinez on the right and he easily turned inside Shavar Thomas before centering for Bengtson to tap home easily, much to the enjoyment of the home crowd.
Jamaica gradually clawed their way back into the contest and created the better openings thereafter, but Marvin Elliott, who was making his debut, as well as Phillips and Jason Morrison failed to make use of their opportunities.
Elliott could consider himself unlucky as after twice going close with side-footed efforts, he saw his goal-bound header from inside the penalty area being inadvertently blocked two yards off the goalline by teammate Dane Richards.
Moments later Phillips could not turn home a point blank chance after an amazing defensive error deep inside the penalty box.
However, the left sided player was to make amends and he did after Omar Cummings was fouled just outside the 18-yard box on the right.
Phillips curled home the resulting free kick with aplomb, as Moreno sent the teams to their dressing rooms for the half time break.
Jamaica started the second half much more alert then the first half but soon lost their sting, as the home side assumed the ascendancy.
Goalkeeper Dwayne Miller had to be alert to turn Bryan Bekeles’ short from inside the area around his near post.
The home side piled on the pressure and were duly rewarded when fortune favoured Martinez with his strike.
Phillips went close with another long range free kick, but Jamaica could not create any serious openings, and in fact, had it not been for superb play by Miller, the score line could have been wider.
On at least three occasions he was exposed by his defenders, but stood like a giant to keep the score respectable.
Taappa is the worst thing that has ever happen to jamaica football, i hate the man with passion he picks the worst side he losses games , he does not know what to do!!! and he wont qualify us to the world cup so what the sense of having him.......

BRING BACK CARL BROWN EXPERIENCE OVER EXPERIMENT......
I won't attempt to comment on a game that I did not see, but I will say that none of this surprises me, just as it will not surprise the others who have long been conmenting on the pathetic qualities of Boyz and the JFF.
Those who were quick to praise Tappa and the team for victories over Grenada and Guatemala, teams that we have ALWAYS beaten, and earning a decent result against a Honduras team missing some major players, seemed to lose a bit of the plot. We all wanted to see positives, but the flaws were there all along, and some of us noted them.
We are behind in preparing this team for next year's qualifiers. There has been no serious attempt to fix the holes in defence and in the midfield, and our lack of focused and targeted recruitment of overseas' players is telling. Yes, one has to use friendly games to experiment, but we are barely doing that. Would that we were blooding "quality" players, and experimenting with new tactics and formations, but we are far from doing these things.
Oh well, maybe the chaos-theory mode of doing things will out, and we will get it all together and fly through those qualifiers.
I curious as to what was said in the dressing room at half time, the ballers came unto the feel looking like mediocre school boys.
No posture, no plan, no goal...clueless...absolutely clueless to what was needed to be done.
After equalizing so spectacularly on the brink of half-time, after dogfighting with the hondurans so majestically...is like a different set of footballers came on second half.
You get shown up in the first minute of the match, u make adjustments...and then totally forget about it second half? How can the defense sit so deep and when we win back the ball...everybody stands there looking lost...absolutely no supportive movement...no defensive drills?
What really happens at training? somebody tell me...
Did we get a money to stop play football second half or supm?
I am not even pointing out any good in that match...its time the coach start to be heavily ridiculed for these blatant disrespect of our national colors. What kinda defensive posture is sit deep and stand up? WTF! We had 5 in the middle, and u a tell me that they dont know how to chase and close space? Ofcourse they know...they did remnants of it in the first half...so what the hell happened second half?
KMT! simple things...Dada nuh tackle..he is a distributor, we all know that...Cummings roams and tackle hard...den nuh cummings fi track deep and dada hold top? bounce d ball of dada and cummings run round d defense? Non-Fing-Sense!
where is the shake up again? aren't we suppose to expect it in the first match?
_________________________ Truly great madness cannot be achieved without significant intelligence
So nothing changed from what we all been saying after the 5th lost. The bright spots were the goalkeeping and Philips work rate all night. The defence was shaky as always and needs upgrading in the centre. JT and Shavar will not work outside of the DCC. Maybe it is time to bring back Claude Davis and Stewart until we find some talent for central defence and Dicoy Williams gets healthy.
I am not sure Austin is a natural right back he kept drifting into the middle and left the wing wide open at times although he recovered on a few occasions. Maybe he could improve when he stops ball watching and drifting.
DADA is not the answer right now at creative midfield he gets pushed off the ball and makes too much wayward passing because he is too far from the forwards at times, hanging on to the ball way to long was noticeable.
Dane Richards- We need an upgrade at right wing. He would be good coming off the bench for the last 20 minutes to give the team pace and fresh legs to run at a tired defence.
Morrison I like how he puts pressure on the ball and is tight area skills but is passing range is so limited.
Clearly we need more depth upfront hopefully Mattocks will feature soon.
As for the Brits they played well for their first game. Nathan Smith looks like he could offer more on the flank.
That said it is time Horace Reid fly to UK and talk to Sinclair, Hines, Beckford, Humphries and maybe Sturridge can still be convinced, they will definitely give us depth and more creativity up front. The team needs talent right now because we lost to Sporting Central and Honduras B side to be honest.
