Worm I have one problem though...It is a FLV file and I can't play it using WindowMedia Player. I have a FLVplayer but it doesn't allow me to rewind...If I attempt to do so, it resets to 0... Help me please because I would love to pause and rewind some of the sweet plays...

Listen forum I think some of you are looking for the ridiculous in terms of results. Look we RESTED Donovan Ricketts, Shavar Thomas (the captain), Eric Vernan, Rudi Austin and Luton Shelton tonight and Omar Cummings was not available and we STILL came away with a good 1-0 win. Ryan Johnson has his moments good and bad but he plays team ball and he has the BEST work rate by FAR of all our forwards. Dane Richards and Luton Shelton do not tack back to defend, Ryan is the one doing that. He needs to work on his finishing and confidence around the net that's all. With all this he still drew a penalty and scored the winning goal.

In the quarter finals we'll have our starting team again with possibly Omar Cummings starting with Dane Richards and Luton Shelton with Ryan Johnson starting on the bench. Rudi and Jason Morrison will start in midfield along with Demar Phillips and Eric Vernan on the flanks and our strongest defensive unit of Jermaine Taylor, Shavar Thomas and Adrian Reid will start with Donavan Ricketts in goal. I'm sorry I don't care who we play in the last 8, this team will be tough to beat. Why? Our offense is probably still the best of all the other teams with Shelton, Richards, Cummings and Johnson. But our DEFENSE and GOALKEEPER are definately the best of all the teams still left. This is why after 3 games and over 270 minutes of soccer not even one goal has been scored against the ReggaeBoyz.

A win is a win. I've seen some good team have some ugly win at the World Cup and go on to win or make the finals. All credit goes to Tappa Whitmore and his coaching staff as well as Captain Burrell and his Admin for putting together such as an outstanding team up to this point in the competition.

Obviously Jamaica doesn't have a rucks B side; it seems like only Tappa knows that.

The only pity with this side is that for Jamaica to really be the top side that they can be, either Morrison or Austin will have to be dropped; Jamaica only needs one defensive midfielder playing behind the wealth of attacking midfield that we have available; we saw two of them in central positions tonight and Jamaica is overloaded with potential wing players, including the uncapped players in England.

This was Jamaica that beat Honduras tonight, no rucks, A or B or any segregation in the squad, just Jamaica.

Javincy, I did notice and this is big.. A testament to our organization in the back. We used a second string backline tonight including goalie and still no goals against... man a chat bout the great Panama how organize and tecnically better than ja they are but they've scored 5 and given up 3.

Bring on Bumb*&#$ C#$@% Panama...!!!! Ja vs Mex Final.. and Boyz makes history and upset the Mex to win the 2011 GC.

You can either convert it or play it in VLC, I would recommend VLC

This WAS indeed the "rux B side"! but there are a lot of players on the "rux A side" that are right now wishing that they showed up to this tournament, because right now they are all unsure of their spot on any future squad. What we are witnessing is a changing of the guards before our very eyes - I am shocked and I LOVE IT!

Ryan Johnson for me is the real deal - a rux in the rough... I see Socrates, Baggio and many of the game's greats miss penalties and and it didn't make them lessar players in my eyes. After that foul(didn't his head hit the ground hard?) i would not have let him kick the penalty! i would have rewared Dane Richards with that penalty for all the hard work he have put in thus far.

As for blaming RyanJ for the change in momentum...the DUMBEST thing i have ever heard. The players need to keep their composure under all circumstances; actually, the main reason for the shift in momentum was THE REF. For one, how can he give a penalty for that tackle against RyanJ without the Honduras play picking up at least another yellow? This is a great "teachable moment" because if you think the refs are against us for this game, wait until we play the US. They need to stick to the script and take out your frustrations by continuing to ball them socks off.

I am here grinning from aise to aise - chuss mi! because i think these rux in training have arrived. This was the B team's B team and they made Honduras looked ordinary. When i heard they were in Brasil training i was sure it was a waste of money, right now - somebody looking like a genius - i am just not sure who yet.

Anyway coach, just show them the tape of this game and let them see themselves ball Honduras until they decided to "play defensive" and they won't "play defensive" anymore.

With 5-6 changes in the team, many wondered what was Tappa's approach to the game. We could see clearly that a win was the only thing on our mind. A win and we top the group with maximum points, without conceeding a goal. 1-0 is the fair scoreline whitout a doubt. Cud have been more due to our 1st have display but we have 5 days to improve for the quater-finals.

The 2nd half we didnt hold the ball ennough and Honduras held the upper hand, we gave away possession, we got silly cards and unfortunately didnt make it 2-0 with the penalty.

Overall it was a good performance from the guys. I think this win will be a wake up to the region that we mean business. On Sunday at the RFK whether it may be USA, Canada or Panama, we will be ready for them no doubt about it.

Finishing and set pieces must be worked on in training

Hmmmm....so like Jagga I ask where is Ballaprof? Where is the "Tappa must go" crew? Deafening silence. I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised that we've gotten this historic performance of a perfect 9 points and no goals conceded, but myself and others have been saying all along to let Tappa do his job and a plan was clearly in place. You can't call the same XI all the time and expand your squad. And how long has Lincs' thread gone on about why we will lose players? Simply, we need depth. No Fuller, no King no problem. That's what the US has that's what we're aiming for but it doesn't happen overnight and you take some licks in the process - Dwayne Miller who some wanted to be axed for good after the bad game at Argentina had a very nice game tonight. You just have to learn from the experience. I for one am very proud of the progress this team has made thanks to its Head coach or TD or whatever they call Whitmore. Let's not set limits about where is satisfactory for us to reach and go all out, you never know. After that let's build on this and take the momentum into WCQ.

not saying it needed validation but atleast i now know i'm not crazy and i'm not the only one who saw this. We fell apart when we started defending instead of continuing to impose our game on honduras. Great post dread.

I still think it was a waste of money......I hope it was not the US$40K FIFA is looking for. ;\)
They would have been more rested in California.....36 hours one way.....where the F did they go to the center of the earth?

before i call it a night i'd love to commend Jason Rux Morrison for his leadership on the field of play , wether playing centerback or central midfield he's been a rock . Jermain Taylor has also matured alot since the last two Gold cups, his game looks like a seasoned vet . His positioning has improved big time , Positioning is wht makes defenders great , not great tackling. If you can outsmart forwards by being in the right place they become ineffective. Reid is coming along fine as well and i think he has more potential than Dicoy who seems to have iron feet and play very nervous.

Just got home from the game. The first half was the best I've seen Jamaica play since October 3rd, 1997 at RFK in DC. The 2nd was a different story, almost entirely.

The one key ingredient missing in Red Bull Arena tonight were the Jamaican fans. To say that there was a paucity of ReggaeBoyz fans is a gross understatement. The Hondurans outnumbered us 100 to 1. We should literally be ashamed of calling ourselves supporters...especially given our numbers in the New York area. And there are many, many here on the forum who live in New York. Instead of going to the game unno deh pon the forum a chat fart, day in, day out.

We're talkers, not supporters. The ReggaeBoyz did the job without us, kudos to them!

After this Gold Cup there will be very few of Jamaica's players in the squad now who will not be playing professional club football somewhere in the world.

Even a blind man can see the difference and improvement both individually and collectively, that Jamaica's players have made once they become full-time, professional footballers.

And you still have the England and Vietnam-based players to look at in terms of squad places.

Jamaica must have one of the deepest players pools in all of CONCACAF right now.
