I would rather see young KEMAR DALEY over OMAR DALEY...
OMAR HOLNESS not ready for this....
Apart from the exclusion of OMAR HOLNESS & OMAR DALEY, if it was possible the addition of Jermaine Pennant would make this an enticing & promising midfield.
Either Lovel Palmer & Richard Edwards should be included to back up Austin...
Will we ever get to see any of these in the "green/black/ & gold...
Sylvan Ebanks Blake, Darren Pratley, Jermaine Beckford, Chris Humphrey, Jermaine Pennant
Lovel Plamer over Holness for sure. I can see Holnes in the Olympic squad though especially if him shine in the U17 WC. 2012 Olympic squad will be loaded..
Holness is a talented and promising young player but Lovel Palmer is a better selection for the Gold Cup. Palmer has the experience and is really playing strong right now. His work rate and decision making can be an asset if he is called upon. Holness is still a baby and need to mature before we throw him to the wolves.

Yes I agree. Gold Cup a big man game and we have bunch of senior players that are much more competent than Holness at this level. The JFF must use the Gold Cup to test our full strength team to see what we need to adjust for world cup qualifying
Jamatl reported that he ran into Dane Richards at the Miami Airport this morning. Richards was on his way to Jamaica where the team is meeting later today before going to Brazil. Most of the team is leaving Jamaica today and catching an overnight flight to Sao Paulo tonight
Great! But, what is the team? Why all this mystery from the JFF? Is it that we will only be taking some local rucks, plus a few other overseas pros, and they are reluctant to let us know. We are at the deadline.

LUTON SHELTON 22. IAN GOODISON 23. TYRONE MARSHALL
(1) One surprise here......Damion Williams over Khari Stephenson since Nybergsund IL-Trysil has been playing garbage ALL SEASON LONG.....and the league that the club plays in is far inferior to the MLS. In that case (Whitmore) could have gone for Lovell Palmer.
(2) They will need Tyrone Marshall's calm demeanor ......Pepe is still rugged and stable...
(3) I am not sure if Jermaine Taylor is fully recovered from his ankle injury....
(4) ADRIAN REID gives me the creeps....he is too casual. One name that would make me turn my TV off!!! Javier "Chicharito" Hernandez........Good lord....Pepe better take his one-a-day vitamins because he will be working overtime!!

I would love to hear the explanation as to why Damion Stewart and JCR were ommitted...
Mind you, this is a federation who likes to pull the "best team every time" policy to "keep our rankings".......for friendly games when we need fans to pay jacked up prices at the National Stadium.
Yet for tournaments that mean more for rankings...when we do not need fans.....we dust off the "we have to be selective" policy.

HAHA! I agree. Pepe and Marshall bring nuff knowledge and stability, but the Mexican whiz is truly dangerous.
The squad is interesting, but lacking in certain places. By the way, i have watched Dicoy play the last few weeks, and he is improving in his reading of the game and his positioning.
