Remie Streete is a 16 year old Newcastle player. He plays in the reserves and he plays as a Centre Back. A few weeks ago he reignited the interest to play for Jamaica. We spoke on our blackberries and he says he will pay his air fair to come down to Jamaica to have a trial with this team. He wants to play for Jamaica. He is a quality centre half. He has quick feet, he is aware and very clean in tackling.
He is presently sending an email to Roy Simpson requesting a trial.
This will lead a door to open for many other players to proove in the next 4 months that they deserve to be part of this jamaican team
That would be a good addition we need another quality central defender to partner ALVAS POWELL. QUANTE SMITH has improved througout the matches but still abit clumbsy
we need a solid GK a left back another attacking midfielder, a defensive midfielder which will allow holness to play closer up front and two strikers to support Jevani Brown and Jason Wright
JY keep it up. Someone needs to reach out to these yutes and let them know we are interested. That someone should be the JFF, but if it isn't, someone else has gotta step up.
Also, Kingsley Francis-Reynolds is now on Blackpool's youth team. He transferred there from Spurs in 2009. He made his first (and only, so far) appearance for the senior team as a sub in Blackpool's 2 nil loss to Southampton in the third round of the FA Cup. Nigel Neita is playing for Arsenal's U18 team. He was born in 1993, so he's too old to play in the World Cup. And Remi Steele has just begun his run with Newcastle's academy. He is only 16 and so is eligible for a call up for the World Cup. He has not yet been called up to represent England's youth.
Weren't you also in contact with Nile Ranger? Has he said anything recently? I know he's too old for the U17s but maybe a future U21, U-23/Olympic, or senior player. Anyway, JY for JFF President.
Nile Ranger is 19, from all indications his international future is still undecided.
Remie has given me the heads up that Jamaica is the country he will be playing for. Im hoping to find a few more players. Remie told me about a guy at sheffield united named richard slew. I need to watch some of sheffields reserves games and see how he does.
I want to actually go to mobay on sunday and tell this current u17 to pull up there socks because a lot can happen in 4 months.
AS LINCOLN ALLWAYS SAYS : players will get injured, players will lose their minds, players will make women get to there head and players will lose visa, passport extc
