Meanwhile, Romeo Parkes, another St. Georges Sports Club player, is set to go on trial with a team in Europe within the next two weeks.
Parkes' representatives at the TSA Sports Agency told RJR Sports Parkes is awaiting visas to France and Serbian to make the trip possible.
"In his case, he had to get three visas. He has to get a US visa because he’s going to be in transit in the US and he also has to get a French visa and a Serbian visa. He has gotten the US visa already and we don’t foresee problems for him getting the Serbian visa then the French visa. We’re looking at getting all this done in the next 10 days," said Karl Wallace, Business Development Manager at the TSA Sports Agency.

Grinds I thought you meant some TSA info. With players the info is different.
Parkes is a young youth who St.Georges United have been pushing for a while. He has been playing for the senior team from about 17 years old. He has been playing as a sub but over the last 2 years have been given a bigger role.
They have been high on him going pro for a while now.
Dont know the latest on this yute but there has been much talk about him in the Match Reports the last 2 seasons. never seen him play....kinda strange hearing ballers coming out a St Mary, Portland and St Thomas, those use to be Cricket Parishes...

Romeo is truly a diamond in the rough for Jamaica. He has played a few years now in the NPL and now features in the Olympic team. With focus, dedication and guidance he is one of the top young midfield prospect with excellent physical tools.

Romeo Parkes looking to take next step up football ladder

PARAMARIBO, Suriname — National Under-23 midfielder Romeo Parkes expressed overwhelming joy after registering his first competitive goal in Jamaican colours during last Wednesday's 2-0 win over St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean Football Union Olympic qualifying match at the Andre Kamperveen Stadium here in Paramaribo.
After enduring a difficult first half, which saw the St Vincent outfit out-hustling the highly fancied Jamaicans, Parkes popped up to thunder home a right-footed half-volley from 20 yards out, just six minutes into the second period to lift his team.

Speaking to the Observer at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel, where the team was being housed, Parkes said that after seeing the ball crash into the roof of the net, he was hit by uncontrollable emotion.
"When I took (control of) the ball on my chest and I looked up and saw the goal the first thing I thought was to shoot. I made clean contact and it flew in. I was so happy... I was tearful after scoring it. I'm proud to be a player on this team and scoring my first international goal made me so happy," he said.
A resident of Port Maria in St Mary, the 20-year-old player is one of the younger members of the 18-man squad, but he has already made a name for himself at the Portland-based St George's Football Club.
The club was one of two which were relegated last season from the Premier League competition, but Parkes has been seeking to tie up negotiations with newly promoted Highgate United of St Mary to remain playing in the top division.
While revealing that there has also been interest shown from clubs in Europe, Parkes said that his ultimate goal is to work his way into the senior set-up.
"It is good to be in the most competitive league so I'm sorting out a move to St Mary... and Europe is also a possibility. I still see myself trying to reach to the senior team because that is a major goal of any player. I have always had the hunger to take a next step," said Parkes, who played two seasons of the daCosta Cup schoolboy competition at Oracabessa High.

Tivoli: Romeo's Juliet... Parkes hits another brace to power TG to big win

ROMEO has found Juliet at Tivoli Gardens, scoring his second brace in four days to hand the champions a 3-1 flogging of Humble Lion at 'Railway' yesterday evening.
In just his second match in Tivoli's orange-and-black kit after trading in Highgate's red and white during this month's transfer window, Parkes sparked Tivoli Gardens to life with two well-taken goals, after a similar feat against Sporting Central on Wednesday.
He opened the scoring in the 21st minute and cancelled Carlington Smith's 42nd-minute penalty with a neat back-post finish in the 67th.
One of Tivoli's most-loved sons, Christopher Nicholas, came on as a substitute in the 56th minute for Navion Boyd and made it 3-1 in the 72nd, but it was Parkes who the youngsters flocked to hear his post-match interview.
"It was my dream to play at Tivoli and it was the right time because it has been a while since they have been calling me," he said.
Heroic move
Parkes' heroics started when he used his six-foot-plus advantage to outjump the Humble Lion's defence, flashing Kemar Flemmings' half-line square past Garth Heron. He celebrated with a double somersault worthy of a perfect score in a floor routine were he a gymnast.
Former Tivoli coach and player, Lenny Hyde, and his assistant, Max Straw, casualties from Tivoli Gardens coaching staff two seasons ago, leapt in joy when a penalty was called on Shawn McKoy for handling a square from the left three minutes from half-time.
Carlington Smith leveled the score at 1-1, easily beat Deron Duncan as he placed the ball to the Tivoli keeper's left after he committed to diving right as the Humble Lion striker ran in.
However, Parkes soon made Hyde and his men eat humble pie in the second half.
The national Under-23 striker only needed 12 minutes after the restart to breach Humble Lion's defence, ghosting in unmarked at the back post to meet Christopher Jackson's free-kick swung in from the left.
Tivoli's coach, Glendon 'Admiral' Bailey, who had bemoaned Tivoli's poor form in front goal at the backend of last year, said Parkes has certainly delievered what he was brought in to do.
"He has been a good introduction for us. He is a player we had been seeking for the longest while and it has been paying dividend," he pointed out.
Last night's win, Tivoli's second in a row after a run of four consecutive losses, moved the champions to fourth on 29 points, still some way behind leaders Portmore on 37 after their 2-1 loss at Harbour View.
Road to title
However, Bailey said the road to the title is a long one.
"We still have the belief, as it's halfway the season," he said. "Last time I checked, there were 57 points out there to get, now it's 54," he added.

Red-hot striker The red-hot Romeo Parkes will get a chance to show Highgate United up close what they have been missing when he lines up for his new club, Tivoli Gardens, against them. The Jamaica Under-20 and Under-23 representative has netted four times in two games since joining Tivoli Gardens and is currently joint top goalscorer with eight goals. Ronique Anderson, who also made the move from Highgate to Tivoli Gardens, has also excelled for his new club and will be aiming to stifle the Highgate attacks.
