He was called up to the senior national team training camp in 2010.
Striker Craig Foster, who was Jamaica's most prolific scorer with eight goals in the tournament, including hat-tricks against Grenada and the US Virgin Islands, was thrilled with his achievements.
"It is a dream come through," said Foster, who represents Reno in the Digicel Premier League and has scored one goal this season against Arnett Gardens.
"This is the first time that I am playing with the national team and to score so many goals, I think it was a wonderful achievement for me," he said.
"It is a great boost for my career, because this is going to give me a lot of confidence going forward into the next round of the competition," said Foster, who is a past student of Mannings High School.

Reno FC made the most of their home field advantage by ambushing the highly fancied Harbour View 2-1 at the Frome Sports Complex yesterday in Digicel Premier League action.
Ace striker Craig Foster was the chief destroyer for the Reno team, netting a brace with goals in the 5th and 73rd minutes of play while Harbour View's talisman Jermaine Hue got his team's consolation in the 8th minute. After some industrious play from left-sided midfielder Shane Anderson, who lofted a cross in Foster's path after a heavy tussle on his flanks, the striker skilfully lobbed home his effort in the roof of the net to give his team a surprise lead.
Trademark free kick
Three minutes later, Hue pulled his team level with one of his trademark free kicks which went around a four-man wall and beyond the reach of Gavin Barrett in the Reno goal from just outside the 18-yard area.
Both teams wasted several opportunities to take the lead afterwards with Hue at one stage hitting the crossbar. However, the decider came in the 73rd minute when Foster received a ball in the danger zone from Troy Reid that seemed to have taken the Harbour View defenders by surprise. The striker wasted no time in putting the ball in the back of the net once again in what proved to be the deciding play of the game.
Donovan Hayles, coach of Harbour View, was disappointed with the result but praised the Reno team for their efforts.
"We were a little flat at the beginning, hence we gave up a goal but we fought back and it paid off but we came out flat again in the second half and it cost us the game," said Hayles.
Beaming
The assistant coach for Reno, Michael Graham, was beaming with joy following the final whistle and promised that his team will be treating each game like a final.
"This is what we have been talking about," Graham said. "We have to get three points when we play at home and if we play our game, we will always get the three points," Graham said.
"I am expecting the away game against Benfica to be a good one and our main intention is to play our kind of game and come away with the points because we have to get in the top 6 of the standings."

Foster scored again today for Reno against Benfica
Fi real??? he must either be tied with Morrissey or have a slight lead cause Morrissey scored yesterday for PMU. Foster might be next player on trial in MLS. I like our u20 chances of making it to the big Dance. Jamaican players hot right now..

Young Mr. Foster finished the season with 15 goals good for 2nd in the DPL. Hopefully over the summer he will work on the fine technical details of his trade with the new JFF staff.

Reno's National Under-20 player Craig Foster won the DPL Player of the Season Award and he was a bit surprised, but elated.
"I must thank God for this great achievement. I never expected it, but I worked hard," said Foster, the son of former Reno player Jeffrey Foster.
The talented youngster said he will be on trial at a Swedish Club and is preparing himself and is even looking to earn a spot on the Reggae Boyz Gold Cup squad.
"I am looking forward to get a call-up to the national (senior) team. I will be trying to make the Gold Cup team (as) I did what I had to do in the Premier League," said Foster.
The forward netted 15 times and was second on the goalscoring chart to Kirk Ramsey of Arnett Gardens, who scored 17 goals. But it was a bitter pill to swallow for Foster seeing that Ramsey netted eight times in a 12-0 demolition of the already relegated Benfica.
"I am very disappointed, but that is just football. I am disappointed with Benfica because I scored two goals then heard in their late kick off that he scored eight," said Foster.

DPL MVP looking to get signed overseas Criag Foster.
Reno's Craig Foster says he is focused on more achievements after he was named the most valuable player (MVP) of the 2010-2011 Digicel Premier League (DPL) season.
Foster was presented with his award at Thursday night’s DPL Awards function held at the Courtleigh Hotel in Kingston.
He beat out the likes of Tivoli Gardens’ Kemar Daley and Navian Boyd as well as Michael Campbell of runners up Boys Town to cop the award.
"I must thank god for this great achievement. I never expected it but I worked (and) hard work brings success and this is what I get. I have a trial at the end of (May) in Sweden, so I’m training, working hard, trying to do my best so that when I get to the trials, I do my best and try to it get signed," Foster told RJR Sports.
The league MVP and 2nd leading goalscorer can not even get a call-up to the U23 or senior team camps. Either he is injured, unfit or discarded.
He could certainly use the training time.
Tappa is sick, i have never seen this before, with all the fringe players getting call to camp.Evan Taylor and Damion Thrope were wasted and now Foster and woodbine are next. Long live Reno.....
