What gets me is the focus on only the negative - not just crime - but every likkle nit picking thing.
I see your point, and I was quite mindful of that when I said, initially, that there were obstacles but that they could be circumvented, without actually elucidating what those obstacles were. I merely highlighted crime because it is such a huge problem that it requires special mention.
At the same time, I think it is the right of every Jamaican to express, as they see fit, the ills that they believe we as a nation need to tackle.
And they have the right to do so without others telling them that they're fighting down yard.
We can tell the difference, we know when someone's simply badmouthing yard for the sake of it as opposed to making critical but constructive observations. Condemn the former, yes, but allow the latter. That's the only way (in part) we'll fulfill our true potential as a nation.
